The Next Generation of Clan Leaders and Deputies by Lilyflower

Lilyflower wonders who the next generation of clan leaders should be.

Hello everyone! Lilyflower here! I have seen this done before, but some of which is outdated, also – i have my own options and ideas on whom could be a valuable candidate for leadership.

But first! Please remember this is just an option, this doesn’t determined the path of future books, or your own opinion, please know that.

THUNDERCLAN

Whoooh boy, ThunderClan. We’ve had a good number of main protagonists there. Bramblestar, at this time, is still occupying the role of leadership, however he is getting older – and Ashfur didn’t do such a grand job of keeping his body well looked after. And honestly, on behalf of most of the fandom, i’m tired of seeing his face. Either that he sacrifices himself in one last hurrah or just retires to the elders den.

Squirrelflight is best girl, for obvious reasons. I love, love her character! But she’s been through alot, and she’s getting a pretty old gal at this point. I don’t mind old leaders, i really don’t. But i’d like a new, fresh start to ThunderClan. And dragging Squirrelflight on for another two arcs or something, with nine whole lives, what’s the point?

Lionblaze was hinted at the possibility of him being ThunderClan’s new leader. But personally, please no. Lionblaze has some…good qualities, but he’s far too alike Bramblestar for his own good. He’s far too brash and is extremely competitive, i don’t believe ThunderClan needs that right now.

Now who’s the better candidate? Or who would most likely be chosen?

My personal guess is Ivypool. Though, i feel it might likely be Ivypool. She has the capabilities of a true leader, and would be able to take charge easily. Also, i’m fairly sure Kate stated she wanted her to be ThunderClan’s leader at some point, and i wholeheartedly agree! Ivystar also sounds dope.

RIVERCLAN

Ah, RiverClan. I’ve always liked RiverClan. But Mistystar is so ancient now, she needs to go. It’s very likely she will during ASC (A Starless Clan), River. Atleast during the journey. But who should take the leadership role after her? I have a feeling Frostpaw will choose the next RiverClan leader, as there’s a possibility that Reedwhisker will also die prior to the journey. Also Reedwhisker better have kits quick or Bluestar’s bloodline is over!!!!!! Also, Reedwhisker is also old. He’s around the same age as Bramblestar.

Now who could be the next leader of RiverClan?
