Why I think the Erin’s did Graywing bad by Brightmist

Brightmist argues by the Erins fell short when writing Grey Wing.

Hello everyone! It’s Brightmist, today’s article will be about Graywing (Dawn of the clans) and how the Erin’s did him down bad-!

(WARNING: HIGHLY CONTAINS DAWN OF THE CLANS SPOILERS!!)

So if you have read Dawn of the Clans, you most likely know Graywing. He’s the main character in the Dawn of the Clans series. We’re going to be taking a look at the first book of that series specifically, called the Sun Trail!

So it all starts when Turtle Tail and Gray Wing meet Bumble, a kittypet. Turtle Tail starts to get close with Bumble, and after a while, leaves to join Bumble and her housefolk as a kittypet.
At this time, Gray Wing also met Storm, a cat living on her own.

Gray Wing is really upset about Turtle Tail, and decides that he can still be happy when Storm is around.
BUT THEN, STORM ALSO LEAVES TO JOIN CLEAR SKY, AS WELL AS FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIM!!
Gray Wings heart is basically shattered at this point, as he was falling in love with Storm and it was hard for him to cope with how Storm loved his brother instead, not to mention also leaving him.

And you might think that Gray wings torture is finally over, right? WRONG!! THEN when Storm realizes Clear Sky is not a good father, Storm runs off to live in a monster den, WHICH THEN GRAY WING IS TOLD THAT STORM IS IN DANGER!
Gray wing rushes to help, but before he could get in and save her, STORM DIES RIGHT INFRONT OF HIM, INCLUDING HER KITS!

Gray wing takes home the only kit that survived to the clan, and that’s when it FINALLY starts to calm down.

But those are just the big things that happened-his own brother Jagged peak was kicked out of clear skys clan because he was weak, and jagged peak also almost died. Also, he got very close to Thunder (Storms kit that survived), but then thunder went to join his father, clear sky. Not to mention in book 2, Thunder Rising, he gets Asthma-

In the end, Turtle Tail came back after her old mate, Tom, abused her. Gray Wing and Turtle Tail end up being together, raising Turtle Tails kits. But it was just weird how much trauma they gave Gray wing TwT!
