Does Frecklewish deserve to go to the Dark Forest? by Dragonpaw

Dragonpaw wonders if Frecklewish deserved to go to the Dark Forest.

Hi there! Sparkie here, and today I will be analyzing Frecklewish. Personally, I don’t like her. Does she deserve to go to the dark forest? Let’s find out.

(!WARNING! THIS ARTICLE INCLUDES MANY SPOILERS! IF YOU DON’T LIKE READING ABOUT MAPLESHADE’S OR HAVEN’T YET, I SUGGEST YOU LEAVE THE ROOM)

So, in the beginning of Mapleshade’s vengeance, you can see that Mapleshade is having kits with a Riverclan tom, Appledusk. This is against the warrior code, so obviously Mapleshade can’t just waltz into Thunderclan camp and yell, “I’m having kits with a Riverclan tom!” Naturally, Mapleshade just doesn’t say who the father was. Now, if we look at the beginning, we can see that Birchface, Frecklewish’s brother, was indeed killed- by Appledusk.
Anywho, Frecklewish basically told Mapleshade that the kits were her brothers. The whole of Thunderclan believes this now. When Mapleshade kits, Oakstar appears. When Mapleshade introduces the kits to Oakstar, he informs her that he is their grandfather. Then they started talking about Birchface and blah blah blah, now let’s get to the drama.
Mapleshade’s kits, Larchkit, Patchkit, and Petalkit were caught by the Riverclan patrol and Ravenwing immediately realized who their real father was and told Thunderclan. Though Mapleshade denied it, she was exiled from Thunderclan. She is now going to Riverclan, and that is when some stuff happened. Mapleshade’s kits drowned in the river as they were trying to escape to Riverclan. Later, it is revealed that Frecklewish literally just watched her kits drown, so Mapleshade killed her. Oof. She also killed Appledusk accidently when she attempted to murder his mate, Reedshine, for vengeance. That’s besides the point. Let’s talk about Frecklewish now. While Mapleshade’s kits were DROWNING, Frecklewish just stood there and watched, not even THINKING of helping. (Ok, she probably was thinking about helping, BUT SHE DIDN’T.) Now, obviously, Mapleshade got mad and killed Frecklewish with an adder, and then Mapleshade died from her wounds, even though Myler tried to help her. Seriously, Mapleshade?
Now let’s talk about if Frecklewish should go to the dark forest, AKA the place of no stars. To do that, let’s see if she did anything bad in her lifetime. I don’t believe she did anything. She promised to help raise her “brothers” kits, and that is nice.

In conclusion, I don’t think Frecklewish deserves to go to the place of no stars. I don’t like her, partly because I am in love with Mapleshade. But, I do not think FRecklewish should go to the Dark Forest. Tell me what you think!
