Frostkit explains the lesson Cinderheart taught readers.

Hi It’s super serious Frostkit. Today, Cinderheart!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;P

When Cinderpelt died saving Sorreltail from a badger, her spirit was channeled into Cinderheart, who, though hardships pummeled her, still was able to become a warrior. But some things stands out…Read On!

It was love at first sight for Lionblaze, when he saw Cinderheart. (Okay that was cheesy) He admired her perseverance to become a warrior, even after she fell from the Sky Oak, and broke her leg. This is what stood out for Lionblaze. Her determination made her stand out from most. But any time Lionblaze tried to say the words, Cinderheart’s answer was no, only because Lionblaze had a power that no other cat had. This lead our Lion to injure himself, angering Cinderheart even more. But what she doesn’t understand or see, is that Lionblaze just wants to earn her respect, and he even admits he never wanted his power. Would this make Cinderheart happier? I think so. Lion is a regular guy. He can hunt, he can climb. He can do everything an ordinary cat can do. And his power is to be invincible in battle. Cinderheart doesn’t want him to die, does she?

Cinderheart had instead a choice. She could have just followed her heart, instead of doing what she truly wanted to do. And she could have just loved Lion from the start, instead of refusing him for one power.
“Destiny isn’t a path any cat follows blindly. It is always a matter of choice, and sometimes the heart speaks loudest. Listen to your heart, because that’s where your true destiny lies.”-Leafpool, Sign of the Moon page 108
This can also relate to Cinderheart. She didn’t have to follow what StarClan wanted her to do. She could have shaped her own destiny, and perhaps loved Lion.
“I always wanted a mate and kits.” -Cinderheart, Sign of the Moon, page 106.
So why didn’t she get together with Lion? She does later have kits though, Hollykit, Sorrelkit, and Fernkit, and later Snapkit, Spotkit, and Flykit. But why not before?

A Lesson She’s Taught Us: You don’t need to judge someone by how they are different, but by seeing what they really want. Just because some cat has a power you don’t doesn’t mean you can’t love them. (Ok THAT WAS CHEESY)

I hope you liked this article. Frostkit out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
