Warrior Cats VS. The Mysterious Benedict Society by Song

Song compares Warriors characters to characters from The Mysterious Benedict Society.

Hiya, everyone! Your friend Song is back with another article in which I will be comparing Warrior Cats and the Mysterious Benedict Society. To clear any questions: the Mysterious Benedict Society is a television series based off of the book the Mysterious Benedict Society. It features Nicholaus Benedict, Rhona Kazembe, Number Two, Milligan, Reynie [Reynard] Muldoon, Constance Contraire, Kate Weatherall, Sticky [George] Washington 😉 and some other people! The last four names are kids trying to stop the Emergency.
In this article I will be stating my opinion on both, transferring names, comparing plots, and some other things!

My Opinion on Warrior Cats
Warrior Cats is, overall, a wonderful book series with great plot ideas, exciting characters and a good way of writing them out. However, there are some problems, like portraying disabled cats in a bad way or how populated ThunderClan is.

My Opinion on The Mysterious Benedict Society
I love the Mysterious Benedict Society, and even though I have never read the books and I haven’t finished the television series yet, I enjoyed the complex, exciting plot and the even personality trait tables.

The Mysterious Benedict Society Characters With Warriors Names
Nicholaus Benedict – Oakbeard, because he’s wise and kinda ancient like an oak tree, but I also just wanted to be funny and give him the suffix ‘beard’ cause he has pretty messy hair. Other names I could have considered are Wiseheart or Greyyawn, because he’s wise, old, and kind, and he has a disorder that makes him fall asleep when close to laughing or really happy.
Rhonda Kazembe – Tigerheart, because she’s bold and fierce as a tiger but is also very kind. A different name – Olivefang, perhaps, to symbolize her thirst for freedom and peace?
Number Two [Pencilla] – Goldenfire, perhaps, because she wears yellow but she’s as fiery as a fire, but other valid names could be Flamestar, because she’s second-in command, where the imposing leader suffix star comes from, or Lilyblaze, because she’s sharp but calm.
L.D. Curtain – Stoneblaze, because of his hard, evil personality that he keeps safely hidden inside of a conniving, fiery shell. He could also be Stormclaw or Thunderstrike to represent his anger, or to honor his invention, the Whisperer, Flamewhisper.
Reynie [Reynard] Muldoon – Cleverdrop, to symbolize how calm he can be (Raindrop) and how smart he is.
Constance Contraire – my Fav Mysterious Benedict Society Member, Constance Contraire! I would name her Eaglestrike, because she’s as imposing and snappy as a calm eagle, but strike because of her fierce personality; perhaps also Foxlily.
Kate Weatherall – Lionleap, because of her fierce but protective personality; also Redbucket 😉 or Falconheart.
Sticky [George] Washington – Wittysplash, because of his shy personality and his smart wits; he could also be Softwhisper, because of how he tried to unleash the Whisperer and yet destroy it, but he’s still soft and shy.

Rating the Two Books/Television Episodes
My rating for Warrior Cats would probably be 3 stars, because it has problems but is exciting to read; for the Mysterious Benedict Society, 4 and 3 quarters, because the plot isn’t exactly my kind of plot, but it’s really exciting and fun to watch!

Comparing the Plots
Warning: Spoilers ahead!
There are many different plots in Warrior Cats; an evil deputy, a battle over leadership, Clans being driven out, rogues and loners ruffling with the Clans, a change in Clan code, new characters being introduced, some death and gore, a lot of battles.
In the Mysterious Benedict Society, a scientist/principal is given a reason to take over the world using his smarts, a school, and subliminal messages, as well as an Invention called the Whisperer. His twin brother, Nicholaus Benedict, and Nicholaus’s adopted daughters, are the only ones to know about this, until they create a test for Boatwright Academy that is really collecting a group of children to defeat L.D Curtain, the villain of the story.
Spoilers Have Ended…

My Opinion on the Two Books/Television Episodes
Personally, I like the Mysterious Benedict Society better than Warrior Cats, but that’s just my opinion!
