Moonlight bathes the ground,
Every blade of grass silent
As a blanket of fog envelopes the sky
Diving and swirling into every crack
On fallen logs and majestic trees’ facades.
Whistling and blowing, gusts of wind
Fight the fog, threatening to disperse it.
Eagle-eyed creatures watch this combat and
Rain joins too, pattering and pouring,
Nature at it’s most pure.
