New Projects!

In lieu of the recent post that announced the new moderators, here’s also a post that explains in more detail some of the projects that are getting revamped or added!

TRAILING STARS GRAPHIC NOVEL

As you probably saw on the new moderator post, the wonderful Liv and Pine are taking charge of this project that showcases amazing BlogClanner art! For those who don’t know, Trailing Stars is essentially BlogClan’s fan fiction, which you can read here.

NEW SCAVENGER HUNTS

There are a few Easter Eggs on the Blog in the form of scavenger hunts, these being what is currently the Emberden and the Viperdiner. I’m pleased to announce more scavenger hunts adding to his ever-growing list, The Osprey Organisation (by me) and The Raincloud (By Piney, started by Rainie)! 

THE BLOG MONTHLY

BlogClan’s first official newsletter has arrived in the form of The Blog Monthly, run by Pine and Lil! This newsletter will contain everything you need to know from the past month on the Blog, like birthdays, clanniversaries and results of NTA and The Rotation (more on that later) and BlogClanner Features! Even better, you can channel your inner journalist and write a feature, or submit art. The first edition is coming your way soon, so get pumped! 

NTA AND ROTATION

Moon and I are now running NTA and The Rotation respectively! There will be frequently updated rounds up and running!

TBN BLOGCLAN ART PROJECT

The amazing artist Liv is revamping her mission to draw Every Single BlogClanner! (Commitment!) More information on the project, including how to get your purrsona drawn, is coming soon!

BITS

Map is working hard on some up and coming BitS instalments, so get ready for that! You can read previous instalments of BitS here.

QUALITY-OF-LIFE UPDATES AND REVAMPS

As we all know, the blog has been around for a while and things have changed since we migrated sites! Some information is outdated, and some links go to entirely different places… The blog could really use a bit of cleaning up! Starting now, we’ll be working in the background to revamp parts of the blog and occasionally add new features to give everyone a better experience! Some of these updates won’t be as obvious as others, so they might go unmentioned. You may have noticed that we have a new change log where these new changes will be documented!

CLANNIVERSARY AND BIRTHDAY POSTS!

Our new Clanniversary and Birthday Tsars, Aquila (Birthday) and Lil (Clanniversary) are now creating wonderful posts for these occasions! Little have you know, though, they’ve been posting them for the last month 😉 There are new guidelines surrounding adding your birthday or clanniversary to the calendar, so make sure to read over them here.
