Bands of colour fill the
Late afternoon sky; the
Open blue flecked with
Small iridescent clouds which
Settle above the blazing
Oval of light that is the sun; the
Muted shades of gold and rose
Blossoming around the edges
Under the clouds, all signs of the
Reality that will soon come:
Night and the twinkling glow of stars.
