Updated Least Favorite and Favorite Warriors (PART THREE) by Flowerbeam

Flowerbeam updates their list of favourite and least favourite characters from the series.

Art by FelineSeraphim

Hi, long time no see, fellow bloggers! Gotta get back into writing, as it’s been since MAY! (halfway through July now!)
Anywayssss, today I’ll be re-doing my favorite’s list of warriors, because my last one was done before december (i think-)
I’m Flowwie, or Flowerpaw/beam, and I hope you enjoy the article!
Reminder, I respect everyone’s opinions, so please respect mine too, and be kind about it. If I dislike your favorite cat, don’t take it personally.

As always, I’ll start with my least favorite warriors

MY LEAST FAVORITE WARRIORS

1. Jayfeather
Why Jayfeather, you may ask? Well, everytime I read his chapters, I was extremely bored, and honestly, I don’t like his attitude. As he has a very similar attitude to me (lol) it makes me annoyed, and mad (wonder why I’m not too liked :P) ANYway, when he snaps at people, it makes me feel immediately bad for the people he’s being rude to. I understand he’s had a rough start, and didn’t like people feeling sorry for him for being blind, but I do not think that is the correct reason to be rude to them.
I don’t have the books with me atm, but one of the parts that made me annoyed and mad the most was when he lashed out at Brightheart. Brightheart was just trying to help him, but he was a jerk to her, and hurt her feelings.

(next part is from my unpopular opinions)
Okay, I know most people love this grump of a cat. But he’s a terrible cat! I literally want to curse at him! Okay, so Jaypaw gets all mad about being blind, and he hates people being like, “Oh, poor Jaypaw! He’s blind!” But he always makes his own choices. He wanted to become a warrior, so even though Firestar clearly thought it was a bad idea, he made him the apprentice of Brightheart. Clearly, Jaypaw HATED that! He insulted Brightheart, and obviously hurt her feelings. Just because you are blind doesn’t mean you can be mean willy-nilly. And Spottedleaf gave him the choice, be a medicine cat or a warrior, and in the end, he chose a medicine cat (although i do understand spottedleaf was a little forceful trying to make him understand he should be a medicine cat, but ultimately, he had the choice). He was super grumpy about it! Three arcs later, he is STILL grumpy ‘bout it. Sorry, that was more of a rant now!

2. Hawkfrost
Wow, this article is already more mature than my last updated warriors! Hahaha it was terrible!

ANYWAYS, I’ve never liked many villains, it’s not new, but Hawkfrost is one of the reasons I don’t like Mothwing (explained below). He was okay in the start, ambitious, but he wasn’t his father. He always had dreams to become a leader, but he took it too far.
The first thing I can remember him doing was faking a StarClan sign, so his sister Mothwing would become medicine apprentice. But it got much worse. He started listening to his ambitious father, Tigerstar I, and let his evilness guide him. He and Mudclaw worked together, and Hawkfrost tried to help Mudclaw be leader, and not by convincing with real statements, instead he did it with greed.
In the end of THAT, Mudclaw was killed.
Somewhere in between (i think) Hawkfrost tried to kill Firestar, which isn’t right.

3. Mothwing
Honestly, Mothwing’s always been kind of bland to me.
I don’t like characters that don’t have much personality, and I can’t see Mothwing’s. Not saying she doesn’t have any, but I can’t see it.
But in TBC, I hated how she acted towards Shadowsight. I get that she’s an experienced medicine cat, but even though Shadowsight may have gotten his name too early, he was fine. Mothwing ripped away his status and clanmate’s trust in a few seconds, and boy was I mad then.

4. Stormfur and Brook (tie)
These two, apart and together, have always made me bored, and as I mentioned, boring characters make it into my least favorites.
Neither of them showing me much of their personality (again, I can’t see it but doesn’t mean they don’t have it) dropped them for 4th. I didn’t like when they returned to the clans because it caused unnecessary drama.
If you’d like to tell me the personality you see, please KINDLY tell me in the comments (same for Mothwing).

5. Leafpool
Again, a character I find bland and boring. As an apprentice she was more enjoyable, but not enough for me to like her. Not much to say, but feel free to kindly share her personality with me below.
I also didn’t like her going off with Crowfeather, even though she gave birth to my favorite cat.

Honorable Mention
A little bit ago I wrote an article about how I lost faith in Lionblaze, so if that’s out, check out why!

Noww… ONTO MY FAVORITES!!!!
Ohhh this is gonna be HARDDD

Favorite Warriors

Hollyleaf
What? You know she’d never leave the pedestal!
HOLLYLEAF MAH DARLING YOU’RE THE BESTTTT! Anyway, I don’t know if you guys know, but I copy and paste why I love her from MY previous articles. (Same with some other favorites)
{From my article, Defending Hollyleaf – Please Stop Hating}
You know, I never knew why I loved her. I just did. But now I know why. It’s because of her never-ending loyalties. To the Warrior Code, to her clan, to herself. She is what the clans have always needed, the one cat willing to always stay loyal to the warrior code. Hollyleaf x Warrior Code is like Starflight x Scrolls (from Wings Of Fire). Hollyleaf could recite the warrior code whenever, Starflight knows literally everything, as long as he read it.
Hollyleaf is AWESOME! Sure, she was traumatized and stressed out, so she killed Ashfur to keep the secret then later exposed it, but Hollyleaf was one of the only cats who wanted to follow the code, no matter how stupid some of the rules were. She was the most loyal cat, I don’t see any other cats that haven’t been codebreakers. Take Firestar, for example. He’s a good cat, don’t get me wrong. But he breaks the code ALL THE TIME. I don’t see much hate on him. Hollyleaf was depressed after she killed Ashfur, because she broke the biggest rule of all, and it killed her. She hated that feeling. She was mad at Leafpool, because her mother basically ruined everything she believed in, because she broke the code by being born. She was the daughter of a medicine cat and a ThunderClan cat and WindClan cat. That broke her. Plus, Feathertail and Stormfur didn’t care about being half clan – well for a little – because they knew they were half clan. Imagine being raised by full thunderclan cats, then when you are warriors being told you’re adopted. I would be mad at my parents – or fake ones – for that. Killing may have been far, but in the end she chose the right thing.
Anyway, onto my second favorite!

Sunfish
Good job, Sunfish, you jumped up a lot, previously being 4th!
Why I like her is in December’s Cat of the Month
Ah, Sunfish. Most people don’t know her at all, nothing about her. Unless you’ve read Leopardstar’s Honor. But the awesome thing about Sunfish is that she was always there for Leopardstar. No matter what. She was a loyal cat, to the horizon and back. Remember when Skyheart (Skykit at the time) held Leopardstar’s head underwater? That made Leopardstar afraid of water. Sunkit always stood up for Leopardkit when the other kits were bullying her (because Leopardkit was fostered because her mother died of greencough, remember? Skykit was always bullying her about that) Okay, getting back to when Leopardkit was afraid of water. When they became apprentices, Leopardpaw refused to get wet, because of what Skypaw did as a kit. She was getting bullied and was being called a Drypaw. But Sunpaw decided to help her and put her favorite fish, carp, on the other side of the river so Leopardpaw had to swim to get it. Such a kind cat. Then as warriors, Sunfish was always there for Leopardfur. She trusted her enough to look after Whitekit(claw), her kit, when Sunfish died. Their friendship lasted longer than Sunfish’s death, though. Leopardfur still thought of Sunfish, even though she was dead! When Whiteclaw died falling into the gorge, Leopardfur was so sad because she couldn’t protect Whiteclaw, her last memory of her best friend. In the end, Sunfish gave Leopardfur a life of courage (I think). Luv u Sunfish! Sunfish was a great cat, and she deserves a place on my list.
*audience claps, realizing she was amazing*

3. Sorreltail
She’s never been on my list, but I’ve always loved her. When I was young, I even created a roblox account named after her. (It’s gone now, forgot user and password).
(passage from December’s cat of the month!)
Sorreltail is an underrated character, and what I mean is that she doesn’t get much love, or hate. She’s just, unnoticeable. But that shouldn’t be the way. Plenty of cats have wronged her. Darkstripe tried to kill her when she was a kit by feeding her deathberries! Thanks to Cinderpelt, she survived. But Sorreltail did good things for Leafpool. When Leafpool was an apprentice, and Sorreltail was a new warrior, Leafpaw and Sorreltail went to WindClan to talk to Tallstar. It didn’t go well, but Sorreltail did it for her friend anyway. She’s a great cat, and in the end, the poor she-cat died from battle wounds, because she wanted to protect her kits. Ah, Sorreltail… maybe she should get a novella? Or super-addition. She deserves it just as much as Honeyfern. Unless I’m being terribly forgetful and she does have one…
R.I.P my beautiful girl, I love you.

4. Leapordstar
R.I.P…. you’ve moved down A LOT!
Anyway, I still love you!
Ambitious and brave yet caring and loyal. She’s by far the best leader (in my opinion) even though she makes mistakes. At the very least, her character is better than most leaders. She’s not a mary-sue but she is a good leader. She makes mistakes, and often needs help fixing them. She doesn’t like to ask for help.

5. Moth Flight
FROM JANUARY’S, FEBRUARY’S, AND MARCH’S CAT OF THE MONTH,
Moth Flight is great. She’s the first medicine cat, but besides that she wasn’t afraid to stand up to her mother. Wind Runner is a good cat, don’t get me wrong, but she didn’t understand what Moth FLight was doing.
Moth Flight loved herbs, she found them, wanted to know what they could do, and she brought them back instead of prey.
““Where are you going?” Wind Runner snapped.
Moth Flight halted. What was wrong now? “I have to fetch a new plant I discovered.”
“No you don’t,” Wind Runner’s mew was hard with anger.
Gorse Fur nosed past the clan leader and met Moth Flight’s gaze.
“Your mother wants us to go hunting together.”
But my plant! Moth Flight’s heart sank. What was the point in arguing? Wind Runner would never understand.”
– Moth Flight’s Vision, page 47
See, Wind Runner didn’t understand towards the beginning of Moth Flight’s Vision.
Moth Flight found herbs, taught herbs, found out about 9 lives and so much more, and she should be noticed more.

Honorable Mention
Ivypool. I’ve loved her since I saw her MAP, Good for You.
From january’s, february’s, and march’s cat of the month.
Ivypool, Ivypool. Where do I start with her?? Honestly, I love her. I saw a MAP about her called something like Good For You – Ivy/Bramble Animator Collab COMPLETED, and it made me LOVE HER. She has flair, personality, growth, and she’s just a great cat. For starters, she trained in Dark Forest because she was jealous of her sister, but when she found out how bad it was she spied instead. She risked her life every night because Lionblaze and Jayfeather told her to. If she didn’t, the clans would probably be gone now. Ivypool should have been the fourth cat, or the third for that matter.

Anyways, that’s all I have for today!
Kind questions, kind comments, kind concerns, and thank you for reading!
