Hey guys, Owlheart here with yet another article! This one’s going to be about what songs some cats might like. There’s probably going to be spoilers, so beware. Any who, let’s get started!
Firestar- Ghost by Justin Beiber
So, Ghost is about how Beiber’s girlfriend died and how “If I can’t be close to you, I’ll settle for the ghost of you”. You might think this an odd choice for Firestar, since he outlived his mate, but not Spottedleaf. He was sad that she died for the second time, and they can never be together now. Thus the lyrics.

Ashfur- I Want It That Way by The Backstreet Boys OR Band-aid on a Bullethole by Morgan Wallen
I Want it That Way- I can just picture him singing this to Squiff! Anyhow, there’s this one part where the song says “Now I can see that we’ve fallen apart. From the way that it used to be, yeah”. Kind of like how they were really close but then things kind of went down hill for them but then their relationship got shaky and then collapsed.
Band-aid on a Bullethole- This song is about how miserable Wallen is after his girlfriend leaves him. The song says “…I’ve held some strangers, told people I hate you. But I just keep hittin’ a wall. It’s like tryna put a Band-Aid on a bullet hole. It just don’t do me no good at all”. Like how putting a band-aid on a bullethole wouldn’t help, it’s really hard for Ashfur to just move on and forget even though it was really easy for Squirrelflight.

Squirrelflight- Love Yourself by Justin Beiber
This song’s about how Beiber’s girlfriend kind of sucks, and he’s breaking up with her. “’Cause if you like the way you look that much. Oh baby, you should go and love yourself. And if you think that I’m still holdin’ on to somethin’ you should go and love yourself”. She should TOTALLY sing this to Ashfur! In the song, the gf seems kind of possessive, just like some cat I know…

Leafpool & Crowfeather- Rewrite the Stars by Justin Paul and Benj Pasek
@moss-shadow on Scratch did a map of them singing this song and it’s AMAZING! Anyways, Not only are they from different Clans, but Leafpool’s a med cat. But they fell in love anyways, and temporarily left the Clans. “What if we rewrite the stars? Say that you were made to be mine. Nothing could keep us apart. You’ll be the one I was meant to find”. They kind of did rewrite the stars with the Three.

Finleap- Home Sweet by Russel Dickerson
This song is about how Dickerson would be at home anywhere so long as he’s with his girlfriend. Kind of FInleap! He left his home Clan just to join his gf. He left his family, friends, and reputation behind just to join a she-cat in ThunderClan! “Wherever the wind blows, wherever this life goes. Baby, all I know, ain’t nothin’ like, nothin’ like. Home sweet. You and me”.

Mapleshade- Sand in my Boots by Morgan Wallen
For those of you that have heard this song and may be confused, allow me to elaborate. Wallen goes to this town and meets an amazing girl. He wants to start dating her and for them to live a perfect life together (Mapleshade) but she does at first and then doesn’t for some reason (Appledusk). Sound familiar? The song goes “Yeah, but now I’m dodging potholes in my sunburnt Silverado. Like a heart-broke Desperado, headed right back to my roots. Somethin’ bout the way she kissed me tells me she’d love Eastern Tennessee. Yeah, but all I brought back with me was some sand in my boots”.
