Ship Or Sink by Silverdusk

Silverdusk gives their opinion on some ships from the series.

Hey guys!
This is my 100th article lol (I’ve lost track.)
Today I’m going to be playing Ship Or Sink.
Basically how it works is if I say “ship” then I like the ship. If I say sink, then I don’t.
Please share your opinions on these ships in the comments!

1) FireXSpotted

Sink. I dislike this ship.
Firestar and Spottedleaf have barely any interactions in Into The Wild. Then suddenly Spottedleaf is dead and Firestar is in love with her. It’s just sudden, purposeless and really just a crush, not love.
No true love can develop in like 2 or 3 months of hardly any interaction, just Firestar watching Spottedleaf from afar.
She treated him like any other apprentice until she died and even if she had lived, it wouldn’t have worked out.
FirexSand is way better in my opinion.

2) GrayXSilver

SHIP! I love this couple.
They fell in love because Silverstream saved Graystripe from drowning. It’s sweet and lovely. I guess it is kind of sudden, but there is a reason for it, so it’s ok. They obviously love each other so much.

3) PinexLeopard

SINK!!! I hate this ship with all my heart. Pinestar is as old as Leopardfoot’s GRANDPARENTS and he crushed on her as an apprentice. The least he could do was wait for her to be a warrior instead of flirting with a minor. And after they became mates, Pinestar would’ve left to be a kittypet without even saying goodbye if Leopardfoot hadn’t approached him first.
Pinestar is a truly horrible mate and Leopardfoot deserved better.
This ship is disgusting.

4) TurtleXGray

I think that Turtle Tail and Gray Wing are really cute together. It’s nice how Gray Wing finally noticed her after over-looking her so many times, first for Bright Stream and next for Storm. Gray Wing is such a lovable character (he’s my 11th favourite!)
Turtle Tail is also a wonderful character and their an amazing couple.

5) TurtleXTom

Speaking of Turtle Tail, why don’t we have a look at her first mate?
This couple is a sink for sure.
Tom abused Turtle Tail AND kidnapped her kits, which resulted in Turtle Tail’s death. I didn’t even feel bad for Tom when he died. Saving Sparrow Fur was the least that piece of dung could’ve done to make up for what he did to Turtle Tail.
(Sorry I just hate Tom.)
Turtle Tail never should have been with Tom, he didn’t deserve her.

6) TallXJake

Ship! This may not be an official ship, but I had to add them. Their friendship is adorable and they are totally in love.
Nobody can convince me otherwise!

7) ThistleXSpotted

Sink! Thistleclaw is a gross cat who manipulated a child. He was incredibly inappropriate and just terrible. No more needs to be said.

8) FernXDust

Ship! They may be uncle and niece, but they still have a really sweet relationship. Dustpelt did start crushing on Ferncloud when she was an apprentice, but there isn’t that big of an age gap between them so it’s sort of like a young adult(20yo) crushing on a teenager (17 or 18 yo.)
Which is kind of gross, especially since their related, but oh well.
Dustpelt and Ferncloud still were really happy together and a good ship.

9) TigerXDove

Sink.
I didn’t actually mind this ship, but all the negativity surrounding this ship is impacting me. Tigerheart has chosen his Clan time and time again over Dovewing and yet she doesn’t get the point. Dovewing could have been with Bumblestripe and taught everyone a lesson that your first love isn’t necessarily right for you. Instead, the Erins turned Bumblestripe into an obsessive Ashfur clone, made Dovewing run away because of pregnancy paranoia and made Tigerheart betray his mate yet again. On the other paw, I actually don’t really mind this ship because considering how much Dovewing loves her kits, it makes sense she would put them above her Clan and Tigerheart DID choose Dovewing in the end… Oh I don’t know. This ship isn’t the worst, but it’s not the best.

10) FeatherXCrow

Ship. I find it so nice how Feathertail understood Crowpaw and was kind to him when everyone else ignored him. Feathertail saw through Crowpaw’s hard exterior to the kindness and loyalty that lay within.
I’m not sure that Feathertail would’ve left her brother and RiverClan for Crowpaw, but Crowfeather was willing to leave the Clans all together for Leafpool. So I’m sure he would leave WindClan for Feathertail and go to RiverClan.
I don’t know, but I like this couple.

12) NightxCrow

Sink for sure. Firstly, they never when loved each other.
Secondly, they always argue and made their son Breezepelt feel upset and stressed.

13) HeatherxBreeze

Ship! I know lots of people dislike this ship, but I love it. Heathertail and Breezepelt are so good together. In Crowfeather’s Trial, Breezepelt risked his life for Heathertail, while Heathertail stood by Breezepelt when his Clanmates mistrusted him.
If that’s not love, I don’t know what is!
