I’m goldenclaw and what I want to discuss is starclan’s judgement and their actions. I believe starclan’s judgement and their actions are not always the best. Also, this is my first article, so it might not be that good.
reasons
1: Why did they let ashfur into starclan and not mapleshade.
Although mapleshade killed more cats than ashfur, it was because she had gone mad because her kits died, she became a rogue, her former mate took on another mate. Ashfur on the other hand tried to kill hollyleaf twice, tried to kill her siblings once, and tried to kill firestar. In my opinion, they both should have gone to the dark forest.

2: Why did they trust ashfur? Ashfur has attempted murder many times, and yet they trusted him. Although Yellowfang said his the reason he had been evil was because he loved squirrelflight too much. I would have kept a close eye on him. Instead, they allowed him to do what he wanted, oblivious of his evilness.

3: Why did starclan not convince the other clans to give up some territory to skyclan. I know that territories hardly can feed the cats in them, but they could have given up some territory. Instead, they let skyclan be driven out, regardless of the fact that there should be five clans.

4: Starclan did not send a sign to Blackstar when his clan stopped believing in starclan. Bad things would happen if shadowclan did not follow the warrior code. Also, it is as if starclan does not care whether there are four clans or not.

5: Starclan did not kill the remaining dark forest warriors that survived the battle with the clans. An upbring could happen(an upbringing did happen). Also, the dark forest cats are really evil, yet starclan did nothing.
Also, I think Jayfeather brought up a good point in the books. How do cats get wiser because they died. Does something happen to them before they reach starclan? Or do they accumulate wisdom while their in starclan.
This is why I think starclan is not as wise as they say starclan is in the books.

  • Very interesting article! I agree with all points except 4. If SC stopped believing in StarClan, I think that means that they can’t send messages to them anymore.

  • Awesome article! I agree with everything you said!
Starclan cats are awful hypocrites. The fact that they had a trial for Leafpool when half of the cats who judged her were also in forbidden relationships. Also they judge Squirrelflight for lying and taking Leafpool’s kits when STARCLAN literally TOLD her to do it! They are accusing her of lying when she was just obeying them. Like what? Starclan also didn’t let Juniperclaw and the other Dark forest cats into Starclan after they redeemed themselves in the light in the mist! They’re awful!

Awesome article, and I totally agree! They don’t care about the Clans, and don’t help them when they need it the most. And Jayfeather is smarter than StarClan will ever be. Dumb cats will stay dumb in death. Nothing happens to them to make them smarter. They just act like they’re smart and living cats believe them. The cats say “Thank StarClan!” as a saying, but really StarClan did nothing. And don’t get me started on the prophecies. Why can’t StarClan actually tell the living cats what’s going to happen instead of saying some twisted reference that not a single cat could ever find the meaning to, and then conveniently disappear. All they do is cause problems. They give a twisted prophecy that doesn’t help anyone, and the cats only realize what it means when the disaster the prophecy foretold is happening.

  • Amazing article! I really agree with the fact that they didn’t care about the other clans driving out SkyClan.
