Silver threads through the
Pale bark of the birch trees;
In the light, the stripes shine a
Clear white. On a branch, an
Eagle perches, lifting its
Head up to the sky, staring
Eagerly in search of prey.
And around the tree’s twisting
Roots, small animals scurry in
The search for hidden treasures.
