Giving WOF Characters Warrior Names! by Skypaw

Skypaw gives warrior names to Wings of Fire characters.

The title says it all, doesn’t it? But I’m going to introduce myself anyway! ^w^
I’m Skypaw/mist and today I’m going to write down a few name ideas for the characters of WOF, and also try to make them into warrior cats characters!
Okay, now into the real article!
Clay – Of course we’d start with Clay, the first POV! His suffix is obvious like it was written on his face: -heart! Of course, there are more creative suffixes for this MudWing, but I’ll be going with this one. Clay is brave, sweet and always puts others first. We could just name him Clayheart…But you know what? I think that might have a different meaning – not that it isn’t matching, because it definely is! I was thinking, maybe Puddle-…According to Sparkythewingedcat’s dictionary, it means the cat (dragon) is shy (it’s in the “shy characters” category). But that’s not my main reason! I think Clay’s prefix should be Puddle- because he loves mud puddles and marshes and all! Marsh- could also work, but I’ll be going with Puddle-! So the result: Clay is Puddleheart!
Tsunami – The second POV on WOF is Tsunami, who is one of my favorite characters (although I can’t decideeee). So, her suffix would likely be -claw or -fang, most likely -claw. Or maybe -shine for her glowing patterns, but -shine feels more Riptide? Anyway. I feel like her prefix or suffix could also be Storm, because of her personality and also because it’s water-related! On the name dictionary I mentioned early, Storm means skilled; strong; determined. It feels so Tsunami! Okay, result: Stormclaw!
Glory – Third POV comes Glory, who’s also one of my favorites (I have a loot of favorites)! I feel like -claw might suit her too, but ehr…Two -claws in a roll? I’m not so sure. -strike, maybe. For her prefix, I think Opal- would be great because it’s a multicolored stone, and Glory can colorshift! So Opal- it is. And for suffix, I’ll go for -mist! I dunno, it just feels a lot like her and mist is kinda transparent, so…Result: Opalmist!
Starflight – His name could easily be a warrior’s if Star- wasn’t the prefix…Well, I feel like Shadow- would be good I don’t know why, but let’s try checking the dictionary and all…I want to go with some sort of bird, because of StarFLIGHT, but I’m not sure. Maybe -bird could be the suffix, after all it’s related with intelligence on the dicitonary and it’s pretty good! Shadowbird? Maybe. Ravensky? Also maybe. Ummm. Skybird! Nope, because SkyWings. Yeah, Shadowbird is actually pretty good! So result: Shadowbird!
Sunny – ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS. Just. She’s amazing! Okay, maybe Dawn-? Actually, look: Morning- Kind; peaceful; caring; appearance of the sun; see Dawn. And Dawn-Intelligent; collected; quiet; loyal; optimistic; light-furred. Morning- is just so Sunny!! And also, look at her name. Okay, so Morning- is defienly the prefix!
