Did Thistleclaw Cause Most Bad Things? by Luna

Luna takes a look at the ripple effects of Thistleclaw’s actions.

Hi! My name is Luna and this is my first article in BlogClan! :3 Today I’m gonna talk about Thistleclaw and what he caused. This is my opinion, so if you don’t agree, please do not scream at me down in the comments. Spoiler warning! Spoilers from practically all the books starting from Bluestar’s Prophecy to the end of OOTS. Let’s start!

Okay, let’s start with Thistleclaw’s backstory. His mother was Windflight and Poppydawn. He served under the leadership of Pinestar, Sunstar, and Bluestar. Thistleclaw’s mentor was Adderfang, and his mate was Snowfur. He had one kit with Snowfur (I think, according to Google), Whitekit/paw/storm. Snowfur dies because she got hit by a car while chasing ShadowClan intruders out of ThunderClan territory. Thistleclaw blames it on Bluefur, who was with Snowfur. He refuses to let Whitekit play with Bluefur. That’s Thistleclaw’s backstory. Moving on to what he did (and caused)!

Thistleclaw was bloodthirsty (I don’t know what Snowfur saw in him 🙂 and trained his apprentice, Tigerpaw, to be as bloodthirsty as him. He made Tigerpaw almost kill a kittypet kit for accidentally trailing a bit of ThunderClan territory! Later, Tigerclaw (used to be Tigerpaw) murders the deputy of ThunderClan, Redtail, and plans to kill Ravenpaw. But thanks to Firepaw and Graypaw (and Barley), Ravenpaw escapes to the Twoleg Barn. He tries to kill Bluestar, but is stopped by Fireheart and is exiled out of ThunderClan. This causes Bluestar to go mad, which is probably the reason why most people hate her. Tigerclaw becomes leader of ShadowClan, and kills Gorsefur, Stormfur, and a lot of other cats. He brings BloodClan into the whole map. Scourge kills Tigerclaw (thank you!!!!), but turns out bad and Firestar (used to be Firepaw and Fireheart) kills him (thank you too). This creates and anger to BloodClan and strikes ThunderClan during Graystripe’s Vow. Later, in OOTS, during the Great Battle, Tigerclaw and his followers (who he probably influence and manipulated) killed a countless number of cats. Firestar defeated him for the last time, but also killed himself.

Whew, that was a lot! Anyway, all of this is because of Thistleclaw and what he did, so I blame it on him. Thanks for reading, and comment below if I made any mistakes or if you want to say something! 😀
