Defending Five Hated Characters by Fadedkit

Fadedkit defends some hated characters.

Hello! I’m Fadedkit. I am going to be defending some of the characters I think are hated for no reason. This is just my opinion. The last one, I’m only doing for fans of the character, but I will still defend them.
—Spoiler Warning—
1 – One of my personal favorite characters! Hollyleaf! To start with, I don’t understand why people hate on her! Seriously, why? Anyways, I’ll start explaining why.
Hollyleaf may be over strict about the Warrior Code, but she could believe in what she believed in. She worked so hard with her training, trying to be one of the Three. Even if she wasn’t, I think she would’ve been a great character to be one.

2 – Breezepelt.
I know what you’re thinking. “Why defend Breezepelt?” Well, to start with, he is actually an easy character for me to defend. I also feel like people never get his side of the story. In Crofeather’s Trial he had such a hard life, especially since he had fought with the Dark Forest. He nearly loses his mother, all Clans thinking Nightcloud’s dead. In my opinion, Breezepelt is just misunderstood.

3 – Millie
Well, to start with, I have always liked Millie. I never understood why she is hated on. That’s why she is one of the characters I chose to defend. To start, Millie was with Graystripe when he got back. She is likely the only reason Graystripe bothered to go back. Yes, Millie didn’t take a warrior name, simply saying she liked her name, but I’m thankful Firestar is so understanding. Millie’s a true warrior at heart, even if she doesn’t have a warrior name.

4 – Daisy
Daisy is hated because she came from the Horseplace, and because she never was a warrior, only a queen. I think that is an unfair reason to hate her. Daisy did her best, raising two litters of ThunderClan kits. She helped her Clan in a different way than a warrior, giving ThunderClan five new warriors. Daisy doesn’t deserve to be hated, she’s a good addition to the Clan.

5 – Pinestar
I have honestly NEVER liked Pinestar. Sorry to Pinestar fans. I am only defending him because he is an easy character to defend, and for people who like him. Pinestar lost eight lives before he became a kittypet. I wouldn’t want to die again! Even if I had another life! He had his reasons to become a kittypet, and he did his best to help his Clan understand why.
