Defending Hawkfrost by Oceanmoon

Oceanmoon defends Hawkfrost’s actions.

Hi guys, this is my 2nd article and today I will be defending Hawkfrost. Before I start, I would like to say that my opinions are my opinions and I do not care for any mean/hurtful comments. Well then, let´s get started!

Let´s start with a summary of his life. His mother, Sasha, gave birth to 3 kits Hawk, Tadpole, and Moth. Their father was Tigerstar the 1st and after Sasha had found out what he was planning, vowed never to see him again. Later, Hawk, Tadpole, and Moth decided to go into Twolegplace where Tadpole ended up dying. Sasha then took the remaining kits and brought them to Riverclan. She stayed for a while but then left. They turned into apprentices and then warriors. Mothwing decided to become a medicine cat with Mudfur. She began helping out but Mudfur insisted that if Mothwing was to become his apprentice that there would have to be a sign from Starclan. Hawkfrost then faked a sign for Mothwing and she became a medicine cat apprentice. After the Great Journey, he teamed up with Mudclaw and then most likely lied to Firestar saying that he thought that Mudclaw should´ve been the leader but never wanted violence. A few arcs later, Brambleclaw starts receiving dreams from the Dark Forest with Tigerstar 1 and Hawkfrost. There were traps for foxes (I think) and Firestar got trapped in one. Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw battled each other and then Hawkfrost died, making the prophecy, “Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will turn red”. Later in the story, he appears to Ivypaw asking her to basically train in the Dark Forest. She says yes and then later she figures out that she should not have joined and fought against them in the Dark Forest Battle. He then tries to kill Ivypool but Hollyleaf buts in and he ends up killing Hollyleaf. He then comes in the Thunderclan camp and Ivypool tries to kill him but he ends up overpowering her and Brambleclaw kills him. Now let´s get to the defending part!

First of all, he did not really have someone who taught him everything.Then his older brother died and he was basically in charge of Mothwing and I´m sure that he felt a huge amount of responsibility to take care of her. He also maybe have had the fake sign for Mothwing that way she could be happy. He might have also tried to kill Firestar because he might have assumed that Brambleclaw would want to be leader really badly so he might´ve thought that he was just helping. Well, that is all!
