Winter skies can be seen from
Inside the house. I stare out of the windows,
Stealing a few moments here and
There, to gaze at the crisp ice blue, and
Embers of a once sharp sunlight, now
Really appearing to be far, far away
In the distance – the sun glows dimly
At the center of the sky, soft and gentle.
