Sometimes the weather decides to
Hail, great big spheres of
Ashen-grey and snow white tumbling
Down through the sky to the ground,
Every single inch of soil blanketed,
Like a carpet made of ice. When
Each stone has melted, it leaves
A puddle behind which I can
Peer into, catching a glimpse of the world around.
