Haiii! This is my first article, and I joined BlogClan like two days ago, and I wrote this during class, so please don’t be too critical.
Today we are going to examine books and see the similarities and differences between them and Warriors.
Let’s begin!
1. Wings of Fire- Tui T. Sutherland
Similarities- There are specific groups (tribes) with specific territories, there are leaders (queens), there are prophecies in each arc, and there are many battles.
Differences- The setting is in a mystical, fictional continent instead of a forest in England, the characters are non-existent flying reptiles instead of real-life furry mammals, the dragons are smarter than the cats to the point where they build castles and armor and weapons, and the battles are mostly about lost treasure and
who should be queen next instead of territory.
Moving on!
2. Watership Down- Richard Adams
Similarities- There are leaders, deputies/captains, warriors/Owsla, queens/does, rogues/loners, and literal kits. There are also humans, badgers, foxes, dogs, mice, monsters/cars, eagles/hawks, visions of the future, a long journey, a significant battle, the same English setting, a group of characters (rabbit warren), and probably a lot more things that I forgot.
Differences- no medicine cats or elders, and the fact that THE CHARACTERS ARE FLIPPING RABBITS. Not considering all of these differences, y’all got a perfect description of a Warriors plot.
Next!
3. Survivors- Erin Hunter
Similarities- specific groups (packs), leaders (Alpha), humans, foxes, raccoons, cats, specific ranks, and a bunch of other stuff my tiny brain forgot.
Differences- THE CHARACTERS ARE LITTERALY DOGS THE SWORN ENEMIES OF CATS
————————————————————————————
Well, now that we stated the three books, lets get on with ranking them according to my data.
1. Wings of Fire- 35% Warriors
Why- I think that it has its similarities, but there are way more differences.
2. Watership Down- 80% Warriors
Why- There are too many similarities! I mean, this might be Warrior rabbits!
3. Survivors- 55% Warriors
Why- This has almost the same value of similarities as differences, so I made it about half Warriors half Itself.
So that’s it guys, have a great day, hope you like it! (If you do, beware a part 2.)
Interesting article! Now I need to read watership down.
I agree, great article Olivepaw! I’d be up for a part 2.

Great article! I noticed the similarities between Warriors and Watership Down, too. You might want to check out the book “Tailchaser’s Song” by Tad Williams. It has many similarities also!
Great article! I definitely agree with WoF- the WoF fandom and the Warriors fandom are very similar and a lot of people(like me) actually have read both series!
Great article!
