Hey There! Frostmoon here, with an article dedicated to BlogClan Gatherings! I won’t waste any time, so I’ll explain myself now.

What IS a Gathering?

Simply put, a Gathering (based off of the event in Warrior cats, when the clans join toghether at the full moon) on BlogClan is where the moderators keep BlogChat on for a longer period of time than usual (spanning over two days or so, usually). By the time you’re reading this, the 2022 Winter Gathering may be happening right now!

However, there is a twist! Before the Gathering starts, all participants are organised into 2-4 teams (numbers vary), and during the Gathering, games are played, hosted by BlogClanners! They usually have something to do with BlogClan or the Warrior Cats series. Some examples I’ve seen from the Summer 2022 Gathering are:
– Purrsona That Object
– BlogClanner Trivia
– Make A Litter
– Two Truths And A Lie
– Name That Kitty

If you’re not a massive fan of games and heated competition, do not fear- there’s usually an hour or so before the games start for chatting and relaxing, a break in the middle and another break at the end of the day for talking and hanging out.

Gathering Rules

As with any event, there must be rules in place. This isn’t to spoil the fun, of course- but to keep everyone safe and the Gathering running smoothly.
As Gatherings take place on BlogChat, which can be located in the “Need Company?” tab at the top of the website, you must follow all BlogChat Rules. The link to the Rules Page can be found here: https://blogclan.katecary.co.uk/blogchat-rules/

One thing to note is that some games, due to technical issues or the host being a little late, may be postponed. Please do be patient with the host and the moderators, and refrain from excessive chatting if there is a technical issue or a problem.

Another rule I see overlooked during Gatherings and BlogChat as a whole is to limit sticker spam! I understand that stickers are super fun and cute, but it can block messages and if the stickers are flashing very rapidly up on screen it can trigger those with photosensitive issues. (Please correct me if I’m wrong.)
