I hate Dustpelt, and here are some reasons why! by Blizzardpool

So, you may be wondering, “Bliżżardpool, why do you hate Dustpelt?” Well, I have plenty of reasons! To start off, he never actually cared for Ashpaw(fur). He only cared for Fernpaw(cloud). He practically neglected Ashpaw, despite Ashpaw being his own apprentice! 2nd, he is related to Ferncloud! And when I say related, I don’t mean Half-uncle or Half-brother. No! Dustpelt is Ferncloud’s UNCLE! Not only that, but he started showing his feelings when Ferncloud wasn’t even a warrior yet! Some may not agree, but I think this is really disgusting… 3rd, he was just a terrible character from the start! Nobody can say they liked Dustpelt ever since the first book… because he was so terrible back then, and he still is! 4th, he never actually had that much character development… yeah, he stopped being mean to Firestar, but that doesn’t make much of a difference since he never really had much going on… I mean, can you find anything different about him other than he’s older and isn’t rude to Firestar anymore? I know what some of you might say, “If Dustpelt wasn’t here half of ThunderClan would be gone” but, are you truly sure about that? Think about it. Ferncloud could’ve found any other cat to be her mate, and she may have had the same amount of kits either way! Although I can’t tell what would happen if Dustpelt did not exist, probably nothing would be different for Ferncloud. Maybe her kits had different appearances or names? But overall, nothing would really change if he was gone. I feel sorry for Brindleface, having to have Dustpelt as a brother… personally, I would be very upset if u had him as a brother… now, I do have to admit, Ferncloud and Dustpelt are very happy together. And it is quite sweet. But the age gap and the fact that they’re related is not… in conclusion, these are the reasons I hate Dustpelt! Tell me, did I change your mind about him?
