Why I Ship Feather X Crow by Luna

Luna shares why they ship Feathertail and Crowfeather.

Hi! Luna here. Before reading on, remember, this is all in my opinion. So if this article offends you in any way, my apologies. Anyway, I’ve read enough articles about people shipping Leaf X Crow. Personally, I think Feather X Crow more, but Leaf X Crow is cute too (I don’t mind this ship, mostly because my 3 favorite cats, The Three, would not be born if Leaf X Crow didn’t happen). So today I will be defending Feather X Crow! Spoilers for practically all the books and arcs! Okay, let’s get to it!

1. High School Crush
This one infuriates me the most. What do you mean, “high school crush”?! They loved each other! Sure, they didn’t have kits, but it doesn’t mean it has to be a “high school crush”! Plenty of couples don’t have kits in the real world. Yes, I know, Warriors isn’t the real world. But that’s still not correct. And also one more thing. Does it not hit you? Feathertail died for Crowfeather (Crowpaw at the time)! High School crushes do not die for each other like that. And I bet Crowfeather would to the same. And Crowfeather got his suffix name in honor of Feathertail.

2. Age Gap
Seriously? There is like a thousand cats that have age gaps. Leapordfoot and Pinestar was kind of disgusting, but there’s an example. Thistleclaw and Snowfur (I think). Bramblestar and Squirrelflight’s age gap is 20 moons! I don’t here anyone complaining about that. Here’s a few more that I don’t here anyone complaining about either: Bluestar ships. In Bluestar’s Prophecy, Bluepaw said she was shocked because Crookedpaw was still an apprentice even though he was really big, like the size of a warrior. And he was apprenticed late, so he should have been a warrior. So Blue X Crooked is the same as Feather X Crow. Same with Blue X Oak, since Oakheart was born at the same time as Crookedstar. And what about Thrush X Blue that everyone wished happened (not that I have anything against it; I love Thrush X Blue, just, you know, evidence)? Thrushpelt was a warrior when Bluekit was born! And Crowpaw became Crowfeather right after the journey, so the age gap wasn’t even that bad. It might have been because of the journey, but still.

3. Time
This one is kind of hypocritical.
