Tweaking The Warrior Code So That It’s Better by Skyfall

Skyfall makes changes to the Warrior Code.

Hi BlogClan! It’s me, Sky Where Clouds Fall (Skyfall). I’m here to write about something I am sure all of us have wondered once while reading the Warriors series: is the warrior code too strict? Well, if you keep reading this article, then you will find out my opinion and the warrior code, manipulated by me! 😁 Now, I think it is about time we started.

Is the warrior code to strict? In my opinion, yes. The warrior code can make a lot of battles, if you think about it. Like, if to warriors from separate Clans fall in love. That could cause a battle because one Clan can blame the other one for manipulating the cat in love for liking the cat from the other Clan. Or if in a battle or fight, a cat could be killed (which is against the warrior code) and the Clan with the killed cat could get even MORE mad, and a new fight could break out right after the old one.

Do you think the warrior code should be changed slightly? YES!!!!! In my opinion, the Clans would be better off if the warrior code was changed slightly. Here’s the original warrior code:

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan’s territory.

3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.

10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

And the one I manipulated:

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have feelings with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan. You may also see the cat you like at planned points, though you may fight him or her in battle, you must remain loyal to your Clan. You may also leave your Clan to join the cat you like and mate.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan’s territory unless you are invited to, or you have a message to pass on respectfully.

3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders unless they are weak or sick.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. You must always hunt for your Clan, not for yourself.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice, though they can carry on apprentices’ chores if they are old enough and there are no apprentices.

warrior name, unless they are requested somewhere else or the leader gives them permission to do otherwise under a big event.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan or a loner, rogue or kittypet.

13. The word of the Clan leader is part of the warrior code, and you must follow it unless it is not right.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for the defense of yourself and other cats.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet unless they need to for dire reasons.
