Hi, Rainbowshine, here! This is my very first article, and I’m planning to make more!
Ok, here we go! By the way, I haven’t read past River, or some of the SE’s, so I might miss some you guys dislike!

Ok, I know what you’re thinking, “But, Rainbow, why?” Well, I think that Graystripe was really just lonely, and wanted a mate. And, does Graystripe need more confusion about who his kids are (hehe)? He was kind of old-ish at the time that he found his way back to the Clans, too. Did he need another mate? No, he was a great character by himself. Is this because I just hate Millie? Well…. Possibly…

Ok, do we really need more CinderLion kits? So, Lionblaze wants to be mates with her. So does Cinderheart. But Cinderheart is freaked out that she is a reincarnation of Cinderpelt. She thinks she is supposed to be a medicine cat. And what does Lionblaze do? Gets mad! Lionblaze should’ve supported her decision to be medicine cat. If that means they can’t be mates, that’s ok! They should’ve just talked and tried to figure out a solution. Even though Cinderheart returned to her warrior duties, she shouldn’t have just said, “Oh, it’s fine now!” when their relationship was clearly not fine.

Ok, everybody knows the drill. Firepaw joins ThunderClan, sees Spottedleaf for 2 seconds, ignores it, she dies, and he remembers. When she was alive, they didn’t have a single interaction! They only have romantic interactions when Spottedleaf’s dead! The only time they interact before Spottedleaf dies is when Firepaw comes in and sniffs her fur! Once! And doesn’t think anything about it! this ship just felt very rushed, and unnecessary It was only important in Firestar’s Quest! And that wasn’t even the main problem in that book! (sorry i’m using so many exclamation points)

We all know and HATE this ship! It was only for Crowfeather to feel like he proved himself after he almost ran away with Leafpool! (and I love Leafpool and Crowfeather!) Crowfeather never loved Nightcloud, he only felt like she was a good warrior to be mates with. And Nightcloud, ooh Nightcloud, only wanted to be mates with him out of the fear of never having kits. Also, it was said that Nightcloud never particularly liked him. Like, at all!
Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The worst ship of them all! The one that rules the Warriors Fandom!!!

Ok, it was very rushed. They really just wanted them to be mates, not looking back at their personality! They ALWAYS fight, then get back together, then fight again! It’s and endless cycle! they should NOT have ever been mates! Squilf is that bad girl who DOESN’T need a mate! She is an independent she-cat! I love Alderheart and Sparkpelt, but they should not have had kits! They didn’t need to have kits. Squilf had the 3! Sure, they’re Leafpool’s kits, but Squilf is a mother to them. We don’t need more kits! Also, I’m not saying that Ashfur is better, because he’s not. As for the whole “Who’s better, Ash or Bramble”, I’m picking none of the above. She doesn’t need a mate.

1. So older cats (and by extension, people) who have been widowed/lost a mate (e.g., Graystripe) shouldn’t take another? You may want to rethink that when you’re older.
2. I’ve read several articles in which the authors say they hate Millie, but no one has ever explained why. Have you read the “Graystripe’s Adventure” graphic novel series? Without Millie, he would never have found his way back to the clans, and might not have survived. To use his own words: “I couldn’t have made it without you. You saved my life, but more than that, you saved my soul. You found me when I was lost and you brought me back to who I really was.” I don’t see how you can like Graystripe and hate Millie. I accept his judgment in the matter.

It’s actually because of her treatment of her kits ^^
The reason people hate Millie so much was that she gave too much unnecessary attention to Briarlight and neglected Blossomfall (Which is part of the reason she ended up in the Dark Forest) and Bumblestripe.
I still think them as just friends. I haven’t really read the book yet, but if they had kits, I hate them.
Great article! I personally think Squirrelflight needs a mate, not to support her, but a cat that she can turn to advice to, or spend time with them, or raise kits with them. In Squirrelflight’s Hope, Squirrelflight missed Bramblestar’s affection and closeness when they had arguments and I think she does need a mate, just not Bramblestar. :))
Nice article!! I agree with all of these (especially Gray x Millie! That ship is the WORST!! >:(( ), but my very least favorite ship is Tiger x Dove. That ship is just… *shudders*

I love the article! I personally think that the Lion x Cinder ship is actually really sweet and I think Lionblaze just was really excited to get a mate, he got a little ahead of himself. (I’m kind of biased since he’s my favorite character lol)
I also hate graystripe x millie, firestar x spottedleaf, nightcloud x crowfeather, spiderleg x daisy, tigerstar x goldenflower, thistleclaw x spottedleaf, and tom x turtle tail but i personally ship all the others (but i don’t remember sharp hail x dewy leaf and leafpool x mothwing is noncanon)

SquirrelXBramble: although I agree that Squirrel doesn’t need a mate, I think they’re good together. (very biased)
GrayXMillie: I mean, who says older cats can’t have mates? Look at Thornclaw and Pinestar!
LeafXMoth: I just don’t think their personalities match, also they’re both medicine cats and from different Clans. I think that’s too much personally.

Wasn’t Dewy Leaf Mmoon Shadow’s mate? I do remember she wasn’t very nice to him when he chose to leave the mountains saying something like “your kits will never know your name”.
Yeah but after Moon Shadow left Dewy Leaf mated with an another cat named Sharp Hail, and had a litter with him. I think?

I VERY much agree with GrayXMillle. Apparantly, Graystripe got with Millie because she reminded him of Silverstream, and then in StarClan he chooses Millie over Silverstream!
That is the reason I don’t like Millie.
