Three Flaws in the Clans by Streakclaw

Streakclaw lists the flaws in how the Clans work.

Hello BlogClan. My name is Streak on Cat’s Claw (Streakclaw, Streaky). I am writing this article because I feel (and I think you agree) that the Clans have many flaws.

The first flaw: the warrior code. (I am sure you all just gasped because the warrior code is really epic and I just said it has flaws). Anyway, the warrior code has many flaws in it because one, it is to strict and does not give cats the right to do something that must be done, and gives leaders VERY powerful rights. For example, there is the rule in the warrior code that is “the word of a Clan leader is the warrior code.” But what of the Clan leader is evil? Or the leader is about to do something bad? Cats would be FORCED to listen. How wrong does that sound? So you see, one of the many flaws in the Clans is the warrior code, and how it, in the wrong hands, could drive the Clans to extinction. (Okay maybe that is a bit overboard, but still, the warrior code can do SOMETHING like that!)

The second flaw: kindness. (Again, I am sure you all just gasped because kindness is so important). Now, let us continue with how kindness is a flaw in the Clans. If a cat is to soft and kind, they could expect a kittypet, loner, or even ROGUE into the Clan. Now, I am sure not all of them are bad or anything, just that cats, warriors, or other Clans could take advantage of that, which we don’t want. Take Firestar for example. He was WAY too soft and kind on cats. In my opinion, his kindness was a weakness in some ways, and that his kittypet life had made him all soft. This leads to why former kittypets should not been made leader life Firestar. (Just so you know I am not denying that Firestar was probably one of the best leaders ever).

And the third flaw: StarClan. (Of course, I am CERTAIN that you just gasped). Anyway, StarClan is a flaw because many of the prophecies they send end up causing battles and death. Plus, the Clans will do anything for StarClan, no matter the cost, which, like kindness, can be used as an advantage, kind of like how Ashfur imprisoned StarClan and sent his own fake messages to Shadowsight so he could destroy the Clans.
