Streakclaw takes a look at the flaws of the famous ThunderClan leader, Firestar.
Hi BlogClan! My name is Streak On Cat’s Claw (Streakclaw, Streaky) and I am here to discuss with you Firestar’s flaws. How about we call it FF for short? Anyway, you are probably wondering what on earth I was thinking when I was writing this article, because you are probably thinking “Firestar was the best leader! He can’t have flaws!” or something along that line. Now don’t get me wrong, I think he was an awesome leader too, but you could also be thinking “Oh my gosh I know what you are thinking and totally agree!” Anyway, I am here to prove to you and the world that Firestar DOES have flaws. Now let us begin!
The first FF (if you can recall, FF stands for Firestar’s flaws). Kindness. I think that Firestar was to kind and soft, and that leaders should, yes, be kind, but also should be firm and sometimes cautious. Like Firestar, I feel, would be willing to admit any cat who wants to join, join. I agree with the other Clans when they say that ThunderClan is to soft, or something like that. I am surprised that nothing bad has happened through his actions of admitting non-Clan cats, like kittypets. Of course, it can’t always be bad to admit non-Clan cats, or Clan cats who want to join. You could get a new warrior or medicine-cat! But Firestar didn’t’t seem to cautious of the cats he let in, and that could lead to the destruction of ThunderClan. That is Firestar’s first flaw!
Firestar’s second flaw is what I think the Erins’ fault. He is too perfect! He was leading ThunderClan at one of the hardest times, yet all of his ideas seem to work flawlessly. Haha! Get it? Firestar’s flaws? Flawlessly? (Don’t roll your eyes at my bad joke). Anyway, why is he too perfect? Well, I think that since Firestar was formerly the kittypet Rusty, the Erins decided to make him perfect and to prove him a Clan-worthy cat. But, if that was their idea, they didn’t get away with it, didn’t plan it well, and made it WAY TO OBVIOUS.
The third FF. Being too likable. Firestar always seems to be too likable, like the fact that he always gets away with light punishments. For example, when he gave prey to Yellowfang and then let her into the Clan, his punishment for basically BREAKING THE WARRIOR CODE was to just take care of Yellowfang for a moon, but was he not already taking care of her by giving her prey? And he should have had a more severe punishment like something kind of like exile, just softer. Not being forced to do what he already was doing! That’s ridiculous!
So, that is all of the FFs. Do you think my points are valid? Or not? Maybe you have more? Maybe you have pointers? All those can be posted in the comments! I really hope you enjoyed learning about Firestar’s flaws! See you around BlogClan!

Great article! Firestar is too perfect sometimes.
Great article! In my mind, Firestar’s worst flaw is that her doesn’t have any 😛 he’s such a Gary stu
Nice article! I think another of Firestar’s flaws is his relationship with Spottedleaf 😛
Great article!
Great article! I agree with what you’re saying, Firestar is kind of overrated.
Great article!
I agree that Firestar was definitely too perfect., especially in series one.
He had three apprentices before Sandstorm had even one, became a warrior super fast and he rose to power way too quickly.
You are right rowanleaf, he did have so much power to quickly.
Good article! I agree with all the points you said, Firestar’s way too perfect of a leader. Hopefully the Erins learned from their mistakes when they finished writing him.
Hi Streakclaw.
Firestar’s only rule violation in his dealing with Yellowfang is that he ate some of the prey that he caught for her when, as an apprentice, he was supposed to feed the clan before feeding himself. He captured a ShadowClan cat on ThunderClan territory, which was a correct action, and he refused to kill her, which she tried to bait him into doing. As for bringing YF into the clan, that was Bluestar’s decision, not his. Again, if he wasn’t punished severely enough, that was Bluestar’s flaw, not his. Of course, Bluestar knew or believed that he was “the fire that would save the clan,” so it’s not surprising that she would cut him some slack.
In the end, bringing YF into ThunderClan was the right decision. After Spottedleaf was killed, without an apprentice, YF became ThunderClan’s medicine cat, and she was was a skilled and loyal one, if grumpy (grumpy medicine cats seem to be a thing, as witness Goosefeather and Jayfeather),
I loved article! In my opinion Firestar is very overrated and way to perfect.
Amazing article! Firestar is a Gary Stu.
To be honest, he tries so hard to be the main character LIKE MY GUY YOU ALREADY HAD YOUR CHANCE AT SPOTLIGHT! THE ONLY REASON HE WAS STILL IN THE PROPHECY WHEN POWER OF THREE CAME WAS BECAUSE THE ERINS WERE TOO LAZY TO CREATE A POWER FOR HOLLYLEAF-
