Hello, hello! I just have a quick announcement on some new features we’re implementing.
We have created a Code of Conduct for BlogClan, similar to our BlogChat Rules. These will show what is expected from both our users and BlogTeam. You can find that here. Please provide your thanks to the amazing Birchfoot for writing it! <3
We are also implementing a new feature; a feedback form from you all to BlogTeam! This is so you can submit any of your feedback, concerns, or suggestions to us directly while also staying anonymous if you wish to do so. We want you to use this and want to hear from you on what we can do to make this website better for everyone. 🙂
This feedback form will also be permanently linked on the BlogTeam Den, so you can submit at any time.
thanks for the new contact form! the new rules all look great!
one question: so no external site linking? would it be allowed if there’s like a warning for any website content concerns (13+, strong language allowed/used etc.)? i don’t use any inappropriate websites, but i just wanted to make sure! thanks for keeping blogclan safe 🙂
The rule is that there’s no linking allowed to external chat sites. Sites such as YouTube are fine ^^ If there is content that you feel like people should be warned about, include those content warnings.
got it, thank you!
does that count for sites that HAVE chat but chat isn’t the main focus
The new rules are wonderful!
Okay, so I have a question. You said comments about triggering subject. Honestly, can you give specifics in the triggering subjects rule in general? Is it okay to write a blog about it if you give a trigger warning? I just want to make sure I’m 100% clear on the rules.
Common triggering topics include, but are not limited to: abuse, suicide, self harm, gore or descriptions of violence more detailed than what is described in the Warrior Cats books, racism, homophobia, transphobia.
Generally, we treat mentions of any common triggering topic on a case by case basis. Most articles that mention abuse look at it from an analytical point of view that isn’t personal to the author of the article, so they tend to get a pass. Trigger warnings will certainly help, but putting one will not guarantee that your article will be published. It’s best to submit your article and then ask the article editors in a comment to read it and see if they think it’s okay to publish.
Thank you , Birchy , for writing the new rules ! They look amazing !
Great new rules! thanks guys
i love all the positive changes being made to blogclan as of late! it’s great to have a sort of definitive rulebook and i love the new anonymous form for when you’re embarassed to ask a question!! thank you all so much <33
Thank you so much for making a clear list of rules/guidelines for Blogclan’s users & Moderators to follow; this will make it much easier for me and other Blogclanners to understand and remember what can and can’t be done/said on Blogclan.
Also, the feedback form is another great idea for Blogclan! 🙂
Loving this and the other new changes! Y’all rock, moddos <3333
Welp that’s the end of tier lists.
10% of the adds that would pop up on the sight weren’t appropriate.
Could Blogclan created Thier own warrior cats character tier list template?
Yes, BlogClanners can make their own template to edit and link pictures of.
Nice! I just registered with a purrsona a few hours ago, then changed to a new one. Is there a way I can change my username as well? It still shows my old warrior name.
nope the username is fixed and unchangeable! but you can change the display name!
I honestly wouldn’t worry about the username – a lot of people have ones that aren’t their warrior name 🙂
okay tysm!
