Why I love and defend Hollyleaf by Swirlkit

Hello! It’s Swirlkit! I’m writing a new article and it’s going to be mostly defending Hollyleaf, because she’s one of my favorite characters. Now let’s take a quick look on Hollyleaf’s backstory.

She was supposed to be a kit born to Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw along with her brothers Lionblaze and Jayfeather. But their actual parents were Leafpool and Crowfeather. Okay, let’s just skip to the more interesting part. I’m too lazy to write the whole backstory. Just search it up on the warriors wiki or something. This article is about defending Hollyleaf, not her backstory. You just need to know that she ran into the tunnels because of …blah blah blah… boring stuff… meets Fallen Leaves… blah blah… feels like she needs to return to Thunderclan… blah blah blah… returns to Thunderclan… blah blah… gets killed by Hawkfrost… blah bl— WAIT. *freaks out*

GetS KilLeD bY HawKFrOsT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I HATE YOU HAWKFROST!!!!! I’m now getting sidetracked. I’m just going to the next part now.

What did Hollyleaf do wrong?

In this part, I will explain what I think people would do when they are doing something like why I hate Hollyleaf or something. It’s gonna be kinda hard for me because I love Hollyleaf.

So Hollyleaf killed Ashfur to prevent him from spilling the secret, but then Hollyleaf spilled it at the gathering herself, and that’s what Ashfur meant to do. So what’s the point of killing some one to prevent them from saying it, if you’re just going to say it yourself? Well Ashfur was a fox heart and deserves to die anyway. He was going to make three cats burn to death just to make Squirrelflight feel bad. That was evil of him. (I’m trying very hard to not yell a whole bunch of bad insults in the article right now… not that I’m allowed to say bad words)

Okay now to list why do people hate Hollyleaf.

1. She killed Ashfur
2. She ran into the tunnels
3. She killed a cat to prevent him from spilling the secret but later she spilled it herself
4. I don’t know… she was a half clan cat? (That’s a stupid reason but I’m putting it there.)
5. Tried to force Leafpool to eat deathberries

Okay, four? ONLY FIVE?! Now to explain why I don’t think that any of those reasons are valid to use for “reasons” because I can think of other thinks that can counter them. Here we go.

1. Cats kill cats in battle. So what? It happens and Ashfur was evil and deserved to be killed anyway.
2. She only did that because she thought she didn’t deserve Thunderclan!
3. She later decided that they shouldn’t live in a world with forever secrets.
4. LOTS OF CATS ARE HALF CLAN AND THEY ARE GOOD! DEAL WITH IT!
5. She found out her whole life was a lie. And she didn’t really mean it. She didn’t shove it down Leafpool’s throat. She just said eat the deathberries. And she was just mad and screaming stuff she didn’t mean. I do that almost all the time. I think most of you do.

That’s all I have! I am definitely not just being lazy and not wanting to put much more. okay maybe I am. But bye! That’s why I love and defend Hollyleaf!
