Why I am confused by Leopardstar by Frogpaw

Frogpaw shares why Leopardstar confuses them.

Hey fellow blogclanners! it’s your Gryffinkit with her next article on why I’m confused by Leopardstar. Recently I’ve changed my mind on this unique warrior cat. I’ve come to like her! There are some things I am confused by though.

Leopardstar’s love choices were very weird. So first in Leopardstar’s Honor you meet Leopardfur, a tabby she-cat with rossetes, she loves this cat named Frogleap. Frogleap is a very peaceful dude. In my first article I stated why I think Frogleap is the best character. He is kind to those even outside his clan. So Leopardfur obviously likes him. In my first article I had stated a quote that included Leopardfur and Frogleap talking about their future. Frogleap notices he needs a mate that is just a warrior because Leopardfur would be too busy caring for a clan to care for him, and he didn’t want to mess up her plan. So he becomes mates with Mosspelt. This was one of her love choices, but I’m about to introduce you to her second.
Tiger(claw)star. This is one of my least favorites. I just don’t understand this! I’m sorry Leopardstar but…..what? Personally, I don’t believe she liked Tigerstar. It’s a warrior cat fact but I don’t understand it. So there are definitely some differences between her two choices.
Frogleap, as I have stated, is a peaceful cat. Tigerstar on the other hand, killed cats to become leader. Tigerstar also led Leopardstar into bad positions. Such as forcing her into joining Tigerclan. Also killing some of her cats! WHAT? Leopardstar, how could you believe this would help your clan?!?! (I’ll get to that later) But Frogleap, he never forced Leopardstar into doing anything. (aside from their conversation about wanting a mate who was a warrior. Which wasn’t even forcing her in my opinion.) In fact, he let her lead the clan. He just told her he would find a new mate. I think you can tell who is the better option.
Another reason I was confused by this character was how she beloved Tigerstar would serve RiverClan well. From the beginning, I didn’t think Tigerstar was this bad, but how could you force your cat to kill another? At that point I’d be over. I would tell him to stop! He can’t lead your clan like that!
