“Well?” DuneFall finished explaining, and awaited an answer.
Prongstar opened their mouth to respond, their hat shifting. “Would you mind readjusting my hat?” The leader prompted, and DuneFall reluctantly tilted it into position.
“Now will you tell us?” The deputy asked impatiently. Prongstar rolled their eyes and nodded.
“Send a patrol to further investigate this dilemma.” The leader decided. She flicked her tail in dismissal, and DuneFall scampered away.
Cobrafang hissed from where she stood.
“Hats,”she spat, “I never saw the appeal.” She whipped around, bristling, and ducked a cactus. Hissing, she snapped a piece of the cactus off, as it could treat wounds.
Cactuspaw looked up alertly. “Cactuuuus,” she hissed eagerly. Prongstar frowned at her, then started scowling as the hat wobbled down to obscure her eyes. Cactuspaw feel over laughing as Cobrafang tilted it back into place again.
Embarrassed, the leader cleared her throat and said loudly, “To all the cats who missed my earlier announcement, DuneFall will be leading a patrol to investigate the suspicious activity. All who would like to go, she is waiting near the entrance.”
“Well, I’m not going,” Cactuspaw scoffed. She glared around as if daring anyone to say otherwise.
Sandpaw bristled. “What suspicious activity?” Before even waiting for an answer, she trotted over towards where DuneFall was sitting near the entrance.
Prongstar’s hat fell off, and Reedsway, muttering under her breath, fixed it on properly.
(I forgot if I’m even in this roleplay lol :P)
