Comparing Death Note to Warriors by Scarletdawn

Scarletdawn gives warrior names to characters from the manga and anime series, Death Note.

One of my favorite manga/anime series is Death Note. If you haven’t read/watched it you definitely should! (Note the manga is teen rated and the anime is TV-14 in America) In this article, I am comparing some characters in Death Note to Warriors characters. At the bottom there is a TL;DR. (Minor spoilers for Death Note)
1. Light Yagami
Light Yagami is the main protagonist of Death Note. He is highly intelligent and ambitious. His thirst for power and desire for justice often leads him to commit ruthless acts. Tigerstar, from Warriors, is the most like Light in my opinion. Like Light, Tigerstar is ambitious, cunning, and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He is also highly intelligent and charismatic, able to influence other cats to follow him despite his questionable actions.
2. L Lawliet
L Lawliet can be compared to the character Graystripe in the Warriors series. Both are intelligent and strategic, always thinking ahead and analyzing situations. Additionally, they both have a slightly unconventional approach to life and don’t always follow the rules, but ultimately their intentions are pure.
3. Misa Amane
Misa Amane is the most similar to Sasha. Both are known for their beauty and charm but also possess a dangerous side that can lead them down a dark path. Sasha, like Misa, is willing to do whatever it takes to protect those she cares about, even if it means resorting to violence. Both characters also tend to act impulsively, which can often lead to disastrous consequences. (Sasha is not the only one Misa is similar to. I think that there isn’t a specific character she is similar to, but rather a variety of characters. Sasha is just the most similar. Others Misa would be like are Violetshine and Dovewing… I’m not sure)
4. Near
Near is quite similar to the character Whitestorm. Both Near and Whitestorm are recognized for their composed and level-headed demeanor, rarely displaying strong emotions or becoming overly agitated. In addition, they possess exceptional skills in their respective areas and are always thinking ahead of their adversaries. Near could also be compared to Graystripe (because Near and L are very similar). One similarity between Near and Graystripe is their ability to adapt to new situations. Near is constantly adjusting his plans and strategies as new information comes to light, while Graystripe can survive in a constantly changing environment, always ready to face new challenges.
5. Mello
Mello is very similar to Lionblaze Both characters are highly skilled and intelligent, using their quick thinking to outsmart their opponents. Mello and Lionblaze are both fierce fighters, with impressive physical abilities and a determination to never give up. Additionally, they are both driven by a sense of justice and a desire to make the world a better place. Both are also very impulsive, often jumping into situations without thinking through them first.

TL;DR
Light is similar to Tigerstar I.
L is similar to Graystripe.
Misa is similar to Sasha.
Near is similar to Whitestorm (and Graystripe because Near and L are similar)
Mello is similar to Lionblaze.

These are just my opinions. I haven’t read Warriors in a while so I’m not confident about all of these details. If you have any other opinions please share! If I should write a second article please tell me!
