Giving apprentices who died warrior names by Stormsnarl

Stormsnarl gives warrior names to apprentices who never received one.

Hey, Stormsnarl here! Today I will be talking about, apprentices who didn’t deserve to die, and then I will be giving them warrior names. Spoilers for: The prophecy begins, the new prophecy, and Bluestar’s prophecy!

Swiftpaw-
This, I think most people can agree with. Swiftpaw was clearly upset about being ignored and waiting to become a warrior. He attempted to prove himself, with Brightpaw. So they tried to fight dogs by themselves. Some people think that they were stupid for doing this but I think otherwise. They were almost/basically full-grown cats and there were two of them. They just assumed they were stronger than they actually were. This WAS Swiftpaw and Brightpaw’s fault that everything happened but it was just because they were uneducated about their own strength. I wish that Swiftpaw survived with, Brightheart. If he did survive I think his name should’ve been Swiftfight. The meaning behind this one is how Swiftfight fought those dogs, he would be deserving a fitting name for his accomplishment.

Smokepaw-
Smokepaw died when they were traveling to the new territory. They were walking along a narrow cliff and he slipped when Russetfur attempted to save him her weight made the edge crumble more causing Smokepaw to fall to his death. Smokepaw is one of my favorite apprentices in the books and it was so sad that he died and it wasn’t even his fault. I don’t want to blame it on Russetfur because she couldn’t have known that her weight would crumble the edge but it was kind of her fault. I guess Lionblaze got vengeance later on… That was dark, anyway. Smokepaw most definitely did not deserve to meet his fate so young. I would give Smokepaw the warrior name Mountaincry, I think Tallstar would definitely want to give him a new name because of his bravery in surviving the near-death experience.

Sweetpaw-
Sweetpaw was a pretty young apprentice when she died, she had eaten a rotten mouse, that had brought her into a coma. The medicine cats just assumed she had died and they then buried her alive. (This part was theorized by the fans of the warriors series and may not be canon) While Sweetpaw was the one who ate the mouse, I think it would’ve been better if she survived and she could’ve set a living example for the cats of Thunderclan. (instead of a dead one) I don’t think her name should have anything to do with the mouse tragedy because she would most definitely not want to be reminded of that mistake. Sweetheart would work or Sweetfur for something a tad bit more intimidating.
