Appledusk.🍎
I don’t know much about this character only that is the father of Reedshine’s and Mapleshade’s kits and that he was killed by Mapleshade so I will search in some websites,books…
Anyway let get started.
1.Appledusk is kin of Mistystar🌫️
Mistystar is Appledusk great-great-granddaughter through his father’s father (Shellheart) that is the son of her daughter(Willownose).
2.Appledusk loved genuinely Mapleshade
Although he never loved her more that his warrior position.
3.After the kits drowned Appledusk didn’t want to know anything about Mapleshade or their kits.
He never asked the kits names, said all his Relationship with Mapleshade was a mistake, refused to help Mapleshade and blamed her for their kits death.
One of the worst mates in Warrior cats.
4.Appledusk’s death was the revenge of Patchkit’s.
Mapleshade killed Appledusk to revenge the little tortie kit,she thought that he never wanted her kits and if she killed him she would stop seeing Patchkit’s ghost screaming for help.
5.Appledusk’s last words were ‘Just leave!’
And then he was killed.
6.He only appears alive in Mapleshade’s vengeance
In the ultimate Guide and Crookedstar’s prophecy he is only mentioned.
7.He killed Birchface accidentally
And also Flowerpaw indirectly when she tried to save Birchface this is why all ThunderClan warriors hated him.
8.All of his kits look a bit like him except Willownose
Petalkit,Shyheart and Applefrost have his same fur colour and shade,Larchkit has his same shaded pelt,Patchkit has his green eyes but Willownose doesn’t look like him.
9.All his alive kin live in the tribe
These are Lark,Pine,Feather,Breeze and Stormfur.(They are all alive I think.)
10.Perchpaw is Appledusk’s apprentice
He only appeared in Mapleshade’s Vengeance then he disappeared misteriously.

This are:Apple Blossom,Applefur,another Applefur,Appledawn,Applefrost and Appledawn.
13.He is the only cat with the suffix -dusk
No other cat has this suffix.
14.He is the only RiverClan cat with an apprentice in Mapleshade vengeance
All of the other RiverClan cats didn’t have an apprentice.
15.He met Mapleshade in the great Synamore
But after one battle for Sunning rocks RiverClan’s patrols increased and he couldn’t go there without being spotted.
16.He is taller than Mapleshade
He lowered his head to touch her ears in Chapter 1 of Mapleshade’s Vengeance .
17.He is called Apfelnacht in German.🇩🇪
Which in English is Apple Night.In Finland he is called Omenahämy that is literally Appleseed in France is called Pomme du Crépuscule that is Twilight apple same that the translation in portuguese Crepúsculo de maçã and in Bulgarian is Яблочник ‘Applejack’.
18.The first words that Appledusk says in the books are:
‘What are you doing here?’
He says this when Mapleshade comes near in a gathering.
19.His first three kits love swimming 🏊‍♂️
When Mapleshade take the kits to the river they all love the water and start to swim.
“That was the best thing ever!” squeaked Larchkit.
“When can we come here again?” Petalkit asked. “Swimming is way more fun than jumping!”
“I swam the farthest, didn’t I?” mewed Patchkit proudly.

20.Appledusk’s ancestors are unknown
Mapleshade’s and Reedshine’s are also unknown.
21.A great part of his kin,kin mates and his mates have a plant name🍀
Mapleshade,Reedshine,Petalkit,Larchkit,Willownose,Applefrost,Willowbreeze,Willowkit,Pine,Primrosepaw,Mosskit and Reedwhisker.
22.Many cats which are his kin have the same prefix like someone who had an important part of his life.
Reedwhisker-Reedshine,Willowkit-Willownose,Perchkit-Perchpaw and Applefrost-Appledusk.
23.Breeze has the same colour of pelt and eyes as Appledusk
How can she be like her great-great-great-great-grandfather?I don’t understand.
