Firestar’s Family Made Genetically Accurate by Briarpaw

Briarpaw here, and I’m bored, so I’m going to make Firestar & his family genetically accurate
Btw, I don’t know 100% everything about cat genetics, so please correct me if I’m wrong with anything! I won’t be doing eyes, since I’m not sure anything about those, UNLESS a cat has the eye color of neither of their parents. Then, I’ll just give them one of their parents eye colors.
This will not be including Scourge’s side of the family, because it is SUPER long already lol

So, let’s get started!
Basically, the cat at the top of the family tree dictates all the other cats colors. The highest known cat on Firestar’s family tree is Crystal, so we’ll start with her, and put her in charge. Crystal is a ginger and white she-cat with glossy fur and blue eyes, which is possible. Toms usually look more like their mothers, perhaps with a few differences obviously. And since there are no other known parents for Jake, Jake is supposed to be a ginger and white tom with blue eyes. So Nutmeg, Firestar’s mother, is a brown and white tabby she-cat. She doesn’t have any other known family members, so she will be put at the top of her family tree. Now, because of that, Firestar isn’t really supposed to be a Firestar. In fact, he’s more supposed to be a… Tigerstar. Firestar is a bright flame-colored tom with green eyes in the books, AKA, a highlighter, when in reality, he should be a brown and white tabby tom with blue eyes. So yeah… not really fire. Oops. Well then, how about his sister Princess? Princess is a light brown tabby she-cat with a white chest and paws, green eyes, and a thick tail. Well, she’s almost accurate. Almost. I’m going to try and keep cats as close to their original designs as possible, so Princess is supposed to be brown and white tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Pretty close, I guess! Princess had one more important son with a tom named Oliver. His only description is being a white tom. Now, that son is Cloudtail. But I guess he won’t be so cloudy for long. Cloudtail is supposed to be a brown and white tabby tom with blue eyes. A bit close, but not 100%. Cloudtail had kits with Brightheart, who is supposed to be a brown she-cat with a ginger patch on her chest and amber eyes. Their first litter was with Whitewing, who should be a brown and white tabby she-cat with amber eyes. Whitewing had kits with Birchfall, who is supposed to be a light brown tom. Which means that Dovewing should be a light brown she-cat with amber eyes, and Ivypool should be a brown and white tabby she-cat with amber eyes. Dovewing had kits with Tigerheartstar, who should be a pale gray tom with white patches and amber eyes. Their kits were Pouncestep, Lightleap, Shadowsight, Rowankit, and Birchkit. Pouncestep should be a light brown she-cat with amber eyes, Lightleap should be a pale gray she-cat with white patches and amber eyes, and Shadowsight, Rowankit, and Birchkit should all be light brown toms with amber eyes. Now, onto Ivypool’s side. She had kits with Fernsong, who should light brown tabby tom with blue eyes. Their kits were Bristlefrost, Thriftear, and Flipclaw. Bristlefrost should be a brown and white tabby she-cat with blue eyes, Thriftear should be a light brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes, and Flipclaw should be a light brown tabby tom with blue eyes. Now, finally, all the way back to the man of the hour, Firestar. He had kits with Sandstorm, who is supposed to be a dark ginger she-cat with a white muzzle. Those kits were Squirrelflight, who is supposed to be a dark ginger she-cat with a white muzzle, and Leafpool, who is supposed to be a brown and white tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Hey, not that bad! Now, Squirrelflight had kits with Bramblestar, who is supposed to be a light brown tabby tom with amber eyes. They had four kits, Alderheart, Sparkpelt, Juniperkit, and Dandelionkit. Alderheart and Juniperkit should be dark ginger toms with white muzzles and amber eyes. Sparkpelt should be a dark ginger she-cat with a white muzzle and amber eyes, while Dandelionkit should be a light brown tabby she-kit with amber eyes. Sparkpelt had three kits, Nightheart, Finchlight, and Flickerkit with Larksong, who should be a light brown tabby tom with amber eyes. Nightheart and Flickerkit should be dark ginger toms with white muzzles and amber eyes(and Nightheart still doesn’t look like Firestar lol), while Finchlight should be a light brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes. Back up to Leafpool! Leafpool had three kits, Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze with Crowfeather, who should be a light brown tabby tom with blue eyes. Jayfeather and Lionblaze are supposed to be brown and white tabby toms with blue eyes, while Hollyleaf should be a light brown tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Lionblaze is the only one who had kits, which he had with Cinderheart, who should be a pale gray she-cat with white patches and amber eyes. Their kits were Flywhisker, Snaptooth, Fernsong, Spotfur, Hollytuft, and Sorrelstripe. Flywhisker and Sorrelstripe should be brown and white tabby she-cats with amber eyes, Snaptooth should be a pale gray tom with white patches and blue eyes, we already went over Fernsong earlier, Spotfur should be a pale gray she-cat with white patches and blue eyes, Hollytuft should be a brown and white tabby she-cat with blue eyes. Besides Fernsong, who was already done, Spotfur was the only one to have kits. She had three kits with Stemleaf, who should be a dark ginger tom with a white muzzle and blue eyes. Their kits are Bristlekit, Stemkit, and Graykit. Bristlekit should be a dark ginger she-kit with a white muzzle and blue eyes, and Stemkit and Graykit should be pale gray tom-kits with white patches and blue eyes.
And we finally made it to the end!
