Does anyone like Darkstripe? No. And here is why by Spiritflight

Spiritflight takes a look at Darkstripe’s character and actions.

Here we go.
Honestly, Darkstripe is probably one of the most hated cats in the warriors fandom. I’ve never encountered a person in the whole of StarClan whom has even said anything close to ‘he isn’t that bad’. I mean, what would you even like him for? Exactly. What is there to like? He is so many things that I can’t even describe. Is is not even close to being popular. And I wouldn’t even say he is ‘underrated’ or ‘overrated’. In my opinion, he doesn’t deserve to be either. I’m going to be listing multiple things on why Darkstripe is a terrible character and deserved what he got in The Light In The Mist. In other words, he deserved the same fate he got as Tigerstar.

A coward. Yes, a coward. He was always a coward. Alright, I will admit he never gave up that easily, but great heavens, Tigerstar had to send in Blackfoot to finish the job of Stonefur. Stonefur was weak and hungry, while Darkstripe was well fed and strong.

What he did to Sorrelkit. When Sorreltail was just a kitten, probably no more than three moons or so, Darkstripe did something unforgivable. He tried poisoning her with deathberries, determined to make sure she never got the chance to ever tell anyone about how she saw Darkstripe meeting with Blackfoot on the ShadowClan border (correct me if it was a different cat or a different situation at the time).

Worshipping Tigerstar. Er, okay, I actually kind of find DarkXTiger a really cute ship. But sliding that away, he was blinded by his admiration for the strong tabby. In my opinion, Darkstripe could of processed further into a better cat if only he saw how wrong and terrible Tigerstar was. But of course, he never got the chance.

I could list more, but we all know he is dishonourable, corrupt and foul. Overall, Darkstripe is a scaredy cat and has done some very inexcusable things. I’m glad Longtail saw his wrongful ways and turned out to be a good cat. Darkstripe was my first character I ever disliked, and remains to be #1 least favourite character on my list (even though there are others I hate more 😛). Thanks for reading this article!
