So, Yellowfang, who was a warrior turned into a medicine cat, fall in love with Raggedstar. So let’s say medicine cats were allowed to have kits. So Yellowfang gave birth to Brokenstar and other 2 kits in the nursery. And Brokenstar won’t be Brokenkit since she can say that it’s her kit, and watch Brokenkit, or somethingkit to grow up. And Brokenstar won’t be cruel, and everyone’s happy, no one gets killed, and everything’s peaceful, no Tiger x Broken’s roug attack! o0w0o
But no. It was forbidden for a medicine cat to have mates! And maybe it was this code that made everything tangled…

The second reason: credit to Skysimmer!
The med cats can take care of the kits. And if they don’t need milk, father can take care of them! And kit sleeps the most of the time, and if they are awake, they only play!
The third reason: Med cats can ask for help.
If they are busy taking care if thekits, they can ask their apprentice to do that that and this, or if they don’t have one, they can ask other warriors to do that and this. Besides, it’s not like the whole clan gets hurt everyday! And if the battle happens, the med cat can ask extra help to help her.
The fourth reason: Again, some credits to Skysimmer
What if the med cat is a tom? He can take care of the clan without taking care of his kits. His mate will be at the nursery, being a good mom to the kits. Med cats should had think about toms.
