Hi everyone! It’s REEDOUGH, and we’re going to be talking about something no cat ever realized: Firestar. Is. Related. To. DARKTAIL!
Or his ancestors, anyway.
Okay, hear me out. The great and illustrious leader Firestar, related to one of the most dangerous villains of all time? Whaaat? But the evidence is here:
Firestar and Sandstorm have kits: Leafpool, Squirrelflight
Leafpool and Crowfeather have kits: Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, Lionblaze
So we all know that, right? Now let’s look at Crowfeather’s family tree:
Stagleap and Wrenflight have kits: Onestar, Ashfoot
Ashfoot and Deadfoot have a kit: Crowfeather
So CROWFEATHER SHARES BLOOD WITH ONESTAR! Fine, you might still know that, but…
Onestar and Smoke have a kit: Darktail
CROWFEATHER ALSO SHARES BLOOD WITH DARKTAIL! But Crowfeather had mates with Leafpool, which means… Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather ALL share blood with Darktail!
Lionblaze and Cinderheart have kits: Hollykit, Sorrelkit, Fernkit, Snapkit, Spotkit, Flykit
Those poor kits! Now they are ALL related to Darktail! Anyways, Hollykit and Sorrelkit aren’t really important because I don’t really know about them, but Fernkit turns into Fernsong, Snapkit into Snaptooth, Spotkit into Spotfur, and Flykit into Flywhisker.
Fernsong and Ivypool have kits: Bristlekit (Bristlefrost), Flipkit (Flipclaw), and Thriftkit (Thriftear). So all of them are now related to Darktail…
Spotfur and Stemleaf have kits: Bristlekit, Stemkit, and Graykit. So THEY ARE ALL RELATED TO DARKTAIL.
I knew Firestar’s family tree was big, but seriously Erins?
Now let’s take a look at a more commonly known thing. Firestar is related to Scourge, and here’s how!
Nutmeg and Jake have kits: Firestar, Princess, Filou, Tommy, Luna
Princess and Oliver have kits: Cloudtail, Taylor, Livy, Zack, Nami
Cloudtail and Brightheart have kits: Whitewing, Dewnose, Ambermoon, Snowbush
Whitewing and Birchfall have kits: Dovewing, Ivypool
Dovewing and Tigerstar 2 have kits: Shadowsight, Lightleap, Pouncestep
Dewnose and Sorrelstripe have kits: Baypaw, Myrtlepaw
Lilyheart and Snowbush have kits: Larksong, Leafshade, Honeyfur
Larksong and Sparkpelt have kits: Flickerkit, Flamepaw, Finchpaw
Okay, nothing new there.
Jake and Quince have kits: Ruby, Tiny (Scourge), Socks
So… now all of Firestar’s descendents are related to his deceased, evil half-brother. *sigh* Seriously, Firestar’s family is so messed up—lots of cats mating with distant cousins. For example, Fernsong and Ivypool. And I haven’t even gone into detail of all the other tiny branches and twigs of Firestar’s dominant family yet!
