Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you, where you been? I am in my Taylor Swift ✨era✨, so to speak. I got back from the Eras film Last Friday and since then, I’ve been skipping past every song that’s not Taylor Swift on my playlist. It’s Amberleaf, hi, I’m the problem it’s me. Today I’ll be giving warrior cat names to Taylor Swift songs.

All too Well- Autumnwish
I chose Autumn because I discovered the song in Autumn. (I think she mentions autumn or fall somewhere, maybe I’m going crazy). And Wish because, to me at least, All to Well is about knowing that things have changed, accepting it, but wishing it was different. “Something about it felt like home somehow” (Cryingwish would’ve worked too because this song made me cry)
Autumnwish- A russet-brown tabby she-cat with warm golden eyes. She’s very sweet, quiet, and innocent. She sticks to herself, as her former mate left her for another.

Look what you made me do- Snakestrike
I may not fully know all the context to this song, but you cannot deny it SLAPS. I chose Snake because- COME ON! I had too. If you’ve seen the video, you’d understand. And I chose strike because the song’s about getting revenge “maybe I got mine but you’ll all get yours” and how she “striked” back with this song.
Snakestrike- A pure-black cat with large canines and reddish-amber eyes. They were working their way up to leader, but one cat made them fall back to nothing and now they want revenge.

Cruel Summer- Cryingheart
Cruel Summer is “a desperate summer love that wasn’t meant to be”, according to Taylor. I think Cryingheart matches this, a heart crying out for love, no matter what sort of love it is. Do you see it? Probably not. Also, I HAD to include a reference to that absolute ICON of a bridge: “I cried like a baby coming home from the bar”
Cryingheart- A white she-cat with grey patches on her eyes and blue eyes. All her life she’s been left alone, so at her first chance at love she dives straight in and completely ruins her chances.

Mine- Lilystep and Leapingheart
Two for one! For the Careful Daughter, I wanted quite a simple name. I went with Lily for the prefix because I think that flowers represent innocence (if they were made a rebel, they had to be innocent before, right) and step for the suffix because I imagine that the Careful Daughter wouldn’t have stepped out of line before meeting the Lover.
For the Lover, I went with Leaping because he “left a small town, never looked back”, so he probably took a massive leap in his life, and heart because he appears to have ‘fallen harder’ in the relationship. (I struggled with this one, okay.)
Lilystep- a sleek golden she-cat with green eyes, Leapingheart- a scruffy black-and-white tom. When Lilystep was an apprentice, she struggled to fit in with the Clan, until Leapingheart, a newly named warrior, took her under his wing.

I hope you enjoyed this! Aaah I can’t think of any Taylor Swift references to saying goodbye even thought there’re probably loads- I hope you come back, each time you leave?

*crickets chirping*

Okay, Amberleaf, out.
