Warriors Cats, a series everybody possibly reading this article most likely know, love, and read. So, let me ask you a question: Have you ever wondered what breed some of the characters were? Whatever your answer, today we will be taking a look at the descriptions of some of the characters, and taking a scientific guess, or theory, on what their breed, or mix-breed might be. Oh, and by the way, I did research some of this, since I am still a human with restrictions of knowledge, like hopefully all of us, so it may not be perfect! Alr, letโ€™s get started!

1. FireStar โ€“ The first cat we will be taking a look at is FireStar. well, erโ€™โ€ฆ his description isnโ€™t really all that helpful, considering itโ€™s just: handsome ginger tom. *sigh* , they couldnโ€™t have done any better? Oh, and by the way, that description was from the first arc, since thatโ€™s the only information I have right now. anyways, some other stuff we know is that he has green eyes, and shorthaired-cat. The only thing thatโ€™s going to help is actually the fact heโ€™s short-haired, because unless itโ€™s a certain breed with a certain color, the colors wonโ€™t help. I think heโ€™s could be a Abyssinian because heโ€™s short-haired, and so is the Abyssinian. Now, I know what you might be thinking: What?! But trust me, his face shape isnโ€™t that of a Oriental Shorthair, Manx cat, or Russian blue, and Toygers are a bit short for him. So, yeah. Say if you disagree.

2. BlueStar โ€“ This one was kind of easierโ€ฆ Her description is, โ€œblue-gray she-cat, tinged with silver around her muzzle,โ€ which also doesnโ€™t say much, but โ€“ oh well. Judging from the old and new cover for her super edition, however, Iโ€™d say sheโ€™s a Russian blue. Before you go, โ€œBut Russian Blues have shorter fur than that looks of her new super edition cover!โ€ Well, I like blueberry BlueStar better, so Iโ€™m judging based off her.

3. YellowFang โ€“ So, letโ€™s get straight to the point โ€“ YellowFang looks like sheโ€™d be a Persian, because โ€“ well, she has that same derpy face (not trying to be offensive to YellowFang, ofc!) But before we jump to conclusions, letโ€™s take a look at Into the Wildโ€™s description for her! โ€œOld, dark gray she-cat with a broad, flattened face.” The only part that would be helpful is the fact she has a flattened face. While some Persians do in fact have flat faces, there is two other breeds that she could possibly be! judging from her super edition, she could also have a mix of Exotic Shorthair and Chartreux (only because she’s not all derpy) So, yeah.

4. TigerClaw (Star) – Ah, the infamous villain! What breed would he be? Simple: The Naughty breed. Alright, alright, I was just joking. His description in Into the Wild is, “big dark brown tabby tom with unusually long front claws.” Hmm… looks like the Erin decided to get more descriptive with him! Well, judging from this description and his Novella, TigerClaw’s Fury, (he looks small in the english cover tho…) I can say- maybe a mix of Burmilla, Togyer, and Black-footed cat, that dash of Black-foot only for the fact it is known as one of the deadliest domestic cats there is. So, uh, yeah.

5. GoldenFlower – The only reason I’m putting her on this list is because It would help us understand what mix of breeds BrambleClaw(Star) and TawnyPelt will be. So, yeah. Her description in Into the Wild is, “Pale ginger coat.” Uh… What exactly do you mean, Erins?? Well, this won’t help us :/ . Well… let’s take a look at SwiftPaw’s Description to help us out a bit, since, ya’know, he’s her son. When he becomes a apprentice, his is, “black-and-white tom.” Yeah, just great. Not very helpful. Well, uh – let’s take a look at her description according to the Wiki. It says, “Goldenflower was a ThunderClan elder who served as a warrior under Sunstar’s, Bluestar’s and Firestar’s leaderships in the forest territories. She was born as Goldenkit to Speckletail and Smallear along with her brother Lionkit. She became an apprentice by the name of Goldenpaw with Dappletail as her mentor.” Hmm… well, in that case, let’s take a look at LionHeart’s description. It says, “Magnificent golden tabby tom with thick fur like a lion’s mane.” Alright, that helps! With all of this information (finally!!) We can guess that she could be a mix of Maine Coon, and Ragamuffin. (The Maine coon cause she’s fluffy.) This was obviously the complicated one.

6. GrayStripe – His description is, “long-haired solid gray tom.” Well, it’s good they included he’s long-haired!! With this information, we can guess he’s a mix of British Shorthair and Nebelung. So yeah.

7. BlackFoot(Star) – Sorry, couldn’t resist, since he’s one of the only characters with six toes. His description is, “large white tom with huge jet-black paws.” Well, since large is part of his breed apparently, some possibilities are a mix of Siberian, and maybe Birman.

8. CrowFeather – All I have to say is – the dude looks like he’s a mix of Burmese, Bombay, and “I’m having a bad day, so go away.” I didn’t even need to see his description to put this together. Ok, but seriously, his description is, “dark gray tom,” she it’s like it’d be helpful anyways.

9. SparkPelt – The only reason I’m including her is because I want to note she probably has a mix of Selkirk Rex because she’s playful and bouncy, like one. But at the same time, probably very little of it, considering they’re curly. so she might have Devon Rex in her instead.

10. RootSpring – To end this off, let’s try finding RootSpring’s possible breed. Since I don’t have any of the broken code books with me right now, let’s take a look at what A Starless Clan: River, says. It says his description is, “yellow tom.” Which, honestly, has to be the least descriptive a character can be. It’s even less descriptive than FireStar!! Well, so we can get more information, according to the wiki, “Rootspring is a fluffy bright yellow tom with a broad head and shoulders, a torn ear, and sky-blue eyes.” Woah. Let’s let that soak in for a bit. Since he’s fluffy, he could have a mix of Turkish Angora, and Munchkin.

So, in all, what did you think? Was I right? Was I wrong? Should I make a part two? If so, which characters should be in it? I would to know, and I hope you enjoyed reading this! CloudPaw out!
