Swiftpaw shares their feelings on Firestar’s death.
Why I’m glad firestar died? ? Well a lot of you guys are probably wondering why I’m saying this because while Firestar is one of the most beloved characters but the thing about him that I’m kind of just like and about is it well he’s super like basic which is fine but he was leader for a while and I feel like it was getting kind of boring him being leader for so long so that’s one of the main reasons.
I feel like he’s been leader for like so many moons that it’s just getting like what are we doing here I don’t really understand it I mean I really do like the books and I like Firestar it’s just we had him as a leader for a while he was a good leader but I feel like they had so much focused on him that they couldn’t focus on the other cats sadly and I really liked a lot of the other cats and Firestar is good but it’s just he needed to die because he belongs in starclan he’s been wanting to be there for a long time he’s lost a lot of kin and it’s like why is he not dead yet it’s just it’s weird.
Sorry I’m rambling lol
but anyways he was just I don’t know exactly know why it’s just he was alive so long and that was great and I’m glad gray stripe lived a long time because we needed his wisdom but fire start he’s great I keep on telling you he’s great but like you know it’s just hard when one cat’s leader and focus of the series and different series for so long.
Next point I think that the whole like Firestar storyline was amazing I understand why they stayed on him for so long cuz it was like we made this whole series because of you so it’s like you can’t die soon but then at that point they were just like he should finally died because he’s just he’s been alive for so long and at this point I’m not saying this but it could be true possible that they were just like what else do we do.
Finally I thought he was a great leader and I respect him and the only real reason that I’m glad he died is because he was just very popular and no that’s not bad obviously but he was like one of those cats where it’s like if they die people are going to have emotion and they’re going to like be like what’s going to happen next like oh my goodness what are we going to do now like it’s one of those type of things that I think the reason could behind a Firestar’s death. I just read last hope for the second time and I realize that his death was actually like more intense than I thought it was like his whole conversation with Tiger Claw before he killed him was just so intense and by the way there’s a reason I don’t call him Tigerstar and it’s because I don’t think he deserved the honor to even have a leader name so yeah but anyways fire start is just he was a great character we miss him but it’s really good it added a lot of suspense to the series and it was really really really really really really really really really really really really well written by the way thank you so much Aaron Hunter that that was that was amazing I can’t believe that like the way it was written like the whole conversation before the death I feel like was probably my favorite part so yeah that’s basically the end of this article!!!!!
swiftpaw out!!!!!!
” I don’t call him Tigerstar and it’s because I don’t think he deserved the honor to even have a leader name” love that lol
lol me too
Great article! I agree! Its like the Erins were determined to make him some great and memorable character, which I do respect, but uhm it kinda went too far, he’s kind of a stealer, stealing the spotlight from a bunch more deserving characters like Hollyleaf, Flametail, and other characters who should’ve been the fourth cat XD (I did like him as a POV though)
very true!
I agree! He was a really good character who drew so many of us into the world of Warriors but he lived for four arcs and he was in the spotlight a lot, his death made him a better character because he died helping his clan and saving them a second time from Tigerclaw/star. It gave many other great characters time to flourish in the spotlight and kept people from becoming too bored of him. He was a great character but his death added to the series. This was a really great article with some really good points 😄
thank you!
I agree that it was good Firestar died (even though it made me sad), but I would rather not have Bramblestar as next leader. I mean I would like one that is more… interesting, so to speak. Or at least unexpected. Bramblestar is also basic and I was like “Well now we have to go through nine lives of Bramblestar.” I’d rather have someone surprising like Brackenfur or Dustpelt, etc.
Sry for long comment 😅
I agree!
As a fellow Swiftpaw, I approve /j
but great article! I love how you won’t even call tigerst—nope, tigerclaw, by his ‘leader’ name. he doesn’t deserve it. *clap clap* excellence
Yes lol
Hi swiftpaw!
I agree! Firestar was leader for so long! I was so bored of him being leader! I think that he was also a good leader, but in my opinion, not only because I love this character, but I feel like Squirrelstar will be a better leader. By the way, hi swiftpaw! (WE GO TO THE SAME SCHOOL AND ARE REALLY GOOD FRIENDS IRL). I am also new to the Blog! Hi guys!
hewo. I agree! Welcome…….
I love this article, and I feel the same way. Sometimes I feel like Firestar is way to perfect. guys so how to i post a article
In my opinion Firestar is an overrated character. Like he is a favorite of alot of people, but like you said he took the spotlight of so many cats who could have deserved it. He was in a good bit of the arcs, but when he died he left a legacy. And this gives everybody a chance to find more interesting and less overrated cats. Give other cats their own time to shine.
