Ghost puts several names through Google Translate to see what comes out the other end.
Hi! This is my first article, so please don’t judge me! I have been inspired by others, but enough about that. On with the stuffs!
1. Jayfeather
Swahili: manyoya ya jay
Translation: jay feathers
Yeah, not much has changed.
2. Lionblaze
Swahili: Simba mkali
Translation: A Fierce Lion
XD It’s so true!
3. Sandstorm
Swahili: Dhoruba ya mchanga
Translation: A sand storm
…bruh
4. Fireheart
Swahili: Moyo wa moto
Translation: Heart of fire
Yeah.. Swahili made a Tribe name.
5. Ravenpaw
Swahili: Kunguru paw
Translation: Crow paw
Huh? Crowpaw wandered in here SOMEHOW.
6. Crowpaw (You KNOW I had to)
Swahili: Kidole cha kunguru
Translation: Crow’s finger
??? This wasn’t the same Swahili as Ravenpaw? HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?!
Anyways, paws are SORTA fingers. Checks out.
7. Graystripe
Swahili: Mstari wa kijivu
Translation: The gray line
This one checks out. It also reminds me of my camp. We did this session called ‘the green line’
8. Alderheart
Swahili: Moyo wa Alder
Translation: Heart of Alder
Nice job. Another Tribe name.
9. Leafpool
Swahili: Bwawa la majani
Translation: Leaf pond
Pools ARE similar to ponds, so checks out
10. Squirrelflight
Swahili: Ndege ya squirrel
Translation: Squirrel bird
Birds fly, so maybe??
11. Crowfeather
Swahili: Manyoya ya kunguru
Translation: Crow feathers
I know I already did him, but I gave Squirrelflight it. Same as Jayfeather, though.
12. Silverstream
Swahili: Mkondo wa fedha
Translation: Cash flow
XD Hope you like your new name, Cash flow! XD I can’t stop laughing!
13. Bluefur
Swahili: Manyoya ya bluu
Translation: Blue feathers
Fur and feathers both cover animals, but why Bluefur (Bluestar)?
14. Onewhisker
Swahili: Wivu moja
Translation: One jealousy
I put this one through twice to check, and it was still One jealousy! I have no idea how this happened!
15. Hawkfrost
Swahili: Frost ya Hawk
Translation: Frost of the Hawk
Yet another Tribe name! I might just use the Tribe names for an ACTUAL Tribe…
That’s all for now! Here are the names that were the same when I put them through: Cinderpelt, Mapleshade, Tawnypelt and Barley. Tell me if I should do a Part 2! Ghost OUT!
