Ginny Weasley

I think Lightningrose. Ginny is a very energetic girl and lightning is the first thing apart from those fire related things that represents energy. -rose represents the “flowery scent” she has.

Luna Lovegood

I like Glidetree. She is a very dreamy person and in a dream, you usually glide around. She interacts very well with magical animals, thus I wanted to find a symbol for life. I found that -tree was nice enough.

Hermione Granger

She should be Squirrelspring. A squirrel is one of the smartest rodents and no surprise to anyone, Hermione is one of the smartest characters. -spring would refer to her bushy, curly hair.

And lastly, with my favorite female Harry Potter character and my favorite character in the whole series….

MINERVA MCGONAGALL

The name Iceflame suits her so much. On the outside, she has a cold, severe personality, but deep down she really cares about her students giving her the suffix -flame for the flame that burns in her.

Now for the male characters

Albus Dumbledore

jk Owlsky. Dumbledore is really wise and the owl is often associated with being wise. He is also a talented liar. A jay is a bird who is a great liar and a jay’s wing is blue like the sky, giving the name Owlsky.

Neville Longbottom

I like Stagbloom. Stag, the male version of deer are very timid like Neville in the beginning of the series. In the end he blooms into a braver character. In fact, Neville is the definition of a dynamic character.

Ronald Weasley (Weasley is our King….. <3 )

His warrior name would be Tigershadow. Ron is prone to have a few jealous outbursts from time to time. A tiger is the animal who gets jealous sometimes. He is also always in the shadow of his brothers, giving him Tigershadow.

Harry Potter

Lightningscar, jk. Wolfire. Harry is a very determined person like the wold and there is always a fire that burns in him to kill Voldemort.
