Giving Avatar the Last Airbender Warrior names! by Nightspirit

Nightspirit gives warrior names to characters from the hit animated show, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Hi! Nightspirit here with my second article! My first was why Ivypool is so amazing, but that’s not the topic here. In the article, I’m going to give characters from ATLA (Avatar the Last Airbender) Warrior names! EEK! I’m SO excited because ATLA is my favorite show! I hope this article doesn’t get cropped…
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this article! (P.S. my favorite character from ATLA is Zuko…)

Zuko – I couldn’t resist doing him first! Okay, I’m going to make the prefix “Blaze” because he is a Firebender. Hmm… I’m not sure if I should do the suffix “Fire” because he is from the Fire Nation or “Scar” because of his scar his father game him. I’m going to go with Blazefire because Blazescar is just too cruel. Let me know in the comments which you prefer!

Aang – I’ve gotta do something “windy” and “jumpy” for this silly guy. He is so active! Anyway, I’ll do the prefix “Wind” because he is an Airbender. The suffix? Uhh…”jump”? Windjump? Ooh..how about Airjump? I know the spelling looks weird, but doesn’t it sound cool?
Result: Airjump

Katara – Hmmm….I’ve gotta to the prefix “Hope” or “Wish”, right? Anyway, the suffix? Errr…. “Drop”? Wishdrop? OOH! Wishwater! That’s great! I love it!
Result: Wishwater

Sokka – Hmm… what should I call him? The prefix could be… uh…Let me think. How about I do something “windy” because he loves Suki and Suki has a fan and fans usually cause wind so…why not? Anyway, the prefix will be ….wait! Why don’t I call him Stonebreeze because “Stone” means he is stubborn…and you know why I choose “breeze”. Agreed?

Toph – I’m gonna do the prefix “Needle” for a couple of reasons. The first is that Needletail was kind of rude and sarcastic as a apprentice, so her words were like needles. Isn’t it the same for Toph? Anyway, the suffix can be “rock” because she is an Earthbender and she can be stubborn. So… you like Needlerock? I’d so the suffix “earth” but Needleearth is spelled weird and kind of sounds weird…right?
Result: Needlerock

Suki – Should I do the prefix “Fan”? I’ll try it. Anyway, I believe that the suffix should be “heart” because she loves Sokka and is kind. But Fanheart sounds odd. The suffix could be… “Auburn”? Her hair is brown but has the fainted hint of auburn…I think. Anyway, Auburnheart is pretty like her, so… why not?

Iroh – This wise guy deserves the prefix “Wise”, am I right? Anyway, the suffix should be…”jasmine”? Jasmine Tea is his favorite, but does Wisejasmine sound good? I like it… but he is a Firebender, so…yeah. How about Jasmineflame? Hmm…choose, Nightspirit, choose…hey, he is calm like the night, so… Jasminenight? Flamenight? Darn, this is hard. I’m gonna go with Wisejasmine because he was sort of on everyone’s side during the war, if you get it.

Ozai – This guy needs a cruel name. Uhh… Flame…Flame something. Flameface? HAHAHHA! That’s so silly. Hey, why not Flameshade? Or Fireshade? Or Flameshadow…uh…okay, I choose..er…how about Fireshadow?
Result: Fireshadow

Appa – This cute flying bison deserves a “fluffy” name. Hmm… the prefix could be “Fluff” because he is so soft and furry, and the suffix “wind” because he belongs in an Ait Temple, his owner is Aang, an he can fly. That was easy!
Result: Fluffwind

Momo – This adorable lemur deserves a good name too. Uhh… he prefix could be “Long” because his ears and tail is long, and the suffix “spirit” because he has a playful spirit. Longspirit? That’s not cute enough. I’ll replace “Long” with “Sunshine”. Sunshinespirit may be a mouthful, though… and it sounds girl-ish, and Momo is a boy. Sunspirit? Joyspirit? Ooh, I like Joyspirit. It suits him well!

Ursa – Zuko and Azula’s mother, Ursa, mysteriously ran away when they were children. She is the daughter of Avatar Roku (I believe). I should give her a mysterious, kind, and beautiful name, agreed? The prefix could be “Gentle” and the suffix “secret”. Gentlesecret? I know it has no trace of Fire Nation, but she was like Iroh, who stood for all sides.

Azula – Just like her father, Ozai, she deserves a cruel name. The prefix? Uhm… how about something to do with Fire Nation? I will do the prefix “Flame” and the suffix “Storm”. Flamestorm? I know it doesn’t sound to girl-ish..but I’m out of ideas, LOL!

Mei – Just a girl who likes Zuko, huh? She betrayed Azula because of what we call true love, so what can we say, am I right? Anyway, she is quiet so I’ll do the prefix “Whisper”. The suffix has got to be something “sharp” because she throws knifes (I think). Hmm… how about “edge”? Whisperedge? Nah…How about Quietedge or Sharpflower? Floweredge? Nope. It’s just not her style. Well, WHisperedge is actually not bad. How about it?

Ty Lee – Okay, we gotta so something “rosy” and energetic. I’ll do the prefix “Rose” because she wears pink and she is cute (sort of). THe suffix can be… “nation”? Rosenation? UH- no. Roseleap? Rosebounce? Rosejump? OOH! Swiftrose! It suits her, I think!

Combustion Man – We gotta so something mysterious and detructive. I’ll do the prefix “Immense” and the suffix “blow”. Immenseblow? It makes sense, right?

The cabbage guy – Uh- don’t ask, okay? I felt the urge to include him. Uh, the prefix could be “Green” and the suffix “cabbage”. Greencabbage? Nah.. I’ll change “Green” to – Wait! Why don’t I do Cabbageleaf?

Princess Yue – I forgot about her! I had to search up more characters to make sure I didn’t forget any, LOL! Anyway, sorry that I wrote so little towards this part. The prefix should be “Snow”, and the suffix “moon”. Uhh- that was a little TOO easy!

Jet – Uhh- the prefix is “Jet” for sure, and the suffix can be “leaf” because he chews on that leaf thingy. My my… that was QUICK!

Longshot – Longshot is already a Warriors name…NEXT!

Smellerbee – AGAIN… already a Warriors name. NEXT PLEASE!

The Duke – I hope I didn’t get his name wrong. Anyway, the prefix can be “Giant” and the suffix “claw”. Sorry I’m going so quick!

Wan Shi Tong – This is the owl spirit in the library. Anyway, the prefix can be “Dark” and the suffix “feather”.
Result: Darkfeather

Zhao – This will be the last one of the day. The prefix? How about…uh- I’m out of synonyms for “fire”! I just searched one up and I’m gonna do the prefix “Inferno”…LOL! Anyway, the suffix can be “spread” because fire spreads.
Result: Infernospread
