Hi, it’s Dawnpaw/song, and this is my very first article! Today, I will use Google Translate to translate warrior names from English to Tamil and Tamil to English. I’m doing several different cats. Shoutout to Reedpaw for the inspiration! Let’s get started!
Fireheart- A heart of fire. This makes sense. Google Translate didn’t change it up too much, though.
Tigerclaw- Tigerflag. ???? Google Translate totally messed that one up. Tiger flag? Really? How does claw relate to flag in any way?!
Redtail- Retail. Haha! That sounds like his tail got sliced off and he regrew it! Hmm, maybe his name should be Lizardtail now.
Bluestar- Bluestar. The first one GT got right!
Spottedleaf- Point leaf. Oh no. What on Earth happened here?! Guys, do not trust this medicine cat! She uses pointy leaves!
Graystripe- Greystrip. Is this some strip of gray paper?
Whitestorm- White storm. GT did a good job here!
Longtail- Long tail. Another one GT translated correctly.
Darkstripe- Dark line. This one was decent. At least it makes sense.
Ravenpaw- Ravenpaw. Perfect! No nonsense at all!
Dustpelt- Dusting. HAHAHAHAHA! Dustpelt, start dusting the camp after all the dust you left around it from your pelt! Haha!
Sandstorm- Sandstorm. Well, Sandstorm is a real word, so…
Yellowfang- Yellow style. This makes no sense. Is this a new fashion line? Is Yellowfang a designer now? I don’t like it, please switch to purple or blue!
Brokenstar- Brokenstar. Absolutely no change was made to this one. Still Brokenstar.
Nightstar- Nightstar. GT is doing all right on some of these, but not others. Wait till you see Scourge at the end.
Tallstar- Dalstar. Um, was Tallstar a former kittypet named Dal who joined WindClan as a daylight warrior and became leader or something? Cause this makes no sense.
Cinderpelt- Cinderbelt. Wow, it sounds like my TY Cinder got a belt. At least no one can spank me with it.
Crookedjaw- Curved jaw. Not too shabby, GT.
Leopardstar- Leopard star. Just a space, pretty good!
Silverstream- silver stream. Please stop getting it right, GT, I want it to be funny!
Brightheart- Bright Heart. Decent GT, but it’s not exactly funny!
Mistyfoot- Mistyfood. F is now D? Guys, over here, there’s some prey in the mist!
Stonefur- Stonefur. Another win for GT!
