Matching Warriors with Lover Lyrics and Songs (Mostly ThunderClan) by Mapleflame

Mapleflame matches songs from Taylor Swift’s Lover to characters and scenarios in the Warriors series.

Hi, this is my first article and I hope you enjoy!

I Forgot That You Existed:
For this song I chose Bumblestripe and Squirrelflight.
I think it was more Dovewing, but Bumblestripe does sort of forget about Dovewing after she leaves, right? As for Squirrelflight, I chose her because after she picks Brambleclaw over Ashfur, she starts to care less and less about Ashfur until she seems to never talk to him until he tries to kill her “kits” and posses Bramblestar’s body to take over the Clan, but he doesn’t really matter to her until he shows up to ruin Clan life.

Cruel Summer:
For this song I chose Bristlefrost. I chose her because of one lyric; “What doesn’t kill me makes me want you more.” Idk why, but I feel that she feels this way about Stemleaf. Moving on . . .

Lover:
For this song I chose Leafpool and Crowfeather. Starting off the lyric, “this is our place, we make the rules” reminds me of when they escape the Clan, even if it was a very short amount of time. Second of, the lyric, “have I known you twenty seconds, or twenty years?” reminds me of how Crowfeather meats Leafpool when fighting against Mudclaw. So, yeah. Third reason (yes another lyric) and this time it’s; “can we always be this close?” because they were from different Clans, and I’m pretty sure Crowfeather LOVED Leafpool at the time and it was his idea to run away from the Clans because of it.

The Man:
Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf! “Why?” you ask, because of these two lyrics; “I’d be a fearless leader” and “I’m so sick of them coming at me again.”
First lyric because she’s brave and would make a good leader if she was chosen. (That’s just my opinion). Second lyric because Squirrelflight pretended to be their mother, so she was lied to for most of her life, and because Ashfur was trying to tell their secrets to every Clan. (Even though she did do it herself after killing Ashfur which was weird). So I’m pretty sure this song matches Hollyleaf the best.

Umm . . . I’d say Hollyleaf (again) and that’s all I can think of
