Dark forest cats and do they deserve the dark forest by Rainbowpaw

Rainbowpaw takes a look at some residents of the Dark Forest and whether they deserve to be there.

Heyyy guyss!! Its rainbowflower here :DD ( also i know im a apprentice but ima still say rainbowflower >:) anyways yaa so ima get into the article. Basically im listing different dark forest cats and talking about their life and if they should be in the dark forest 🌌
1. Tigerstar
Does he deserve the dark forest? If im honest, this is most likely the only one that im not even going to explain. Dark forest cat for sure
2. Thistleclaw
Ok, im going to go through this one, and look at his life. It is said that ”even as a kit he was known to be aggressive among his peers” his littermates were sweetpaw and rosepaw, and his parents poppydawn and windflight. His mentor was Adderfang, but thats all i know about him when he was young. When he was a warrior, he manipulated Spottedpaw, and was training in the dark forest. Luckily Spottedpaw realised in time!! Then, when he was Tigerpaws mentor, he ordered Tigerpaw to attack a tiny, defenceless kit. Like who does that?!? Anyways Bluefur had to stop Tigerpaw so that he didn’t kill the kit, and Thistleclaw would most likely be happy if the kit died. So yeah. From then on, he continues being evil, and got worse after his mate, snowfur, died. So, he earned himself a rightful place in the dark forest.
3. Brokenstar
Ok, i know im listing some obvious ones which all have the same answer, but im just mostly saying what brought these guys here. As a kit, he was the only left of his litter. He was also destined to be evil, but did Yellowfang listen? No. (I am now realising the yellowfang fans are gonna come at me for this) anyways, he was told constantly that he had no mother, his foster mother hated him, and he felt unwanted. Continuing on in life, his father picked a weak warrior, (not like in a bad way but he is just not right for Brokenpaw) Nightheart, to be his mentor. anyways he was aggressive even as a paw, so no suprise he was a crazy-cat as a warrior. His father made him a warrior WAY to early, (in my opinion) and made a stupid and biased choice to make Brokentail deputy. Though, in Yellowfangs secret it says windclan killed Raggedstar, and he was just plain DEPPRESSED about it, while in the books it goes on about how he apparently did not know Raggedstar was his father and that he killed him (i might be wrong about this) so its a little mix messages. Anyways, he made kits apprentices at 3 moons and sent them into battle, made them practice how to fight with claws in training, and then said that Yellowfang killed her younger siblings, Marigoldkit and Mintkit, (he killed them) exiled the elders, and much, much more. Although it might not really be his fault, he is still a dark forest cat, because Violetkit/paw/tail went through kinda the same thing as a kit. But still, he is very cruel, so dark forest.
4. Mapleshade
Now here is the interesting one, as its always a popular debate. So we all know Mapleshade was a very loyal and good warrior at some time. The whispers were that she would be leader someday. But that all came crashing down when she fell in love with a riverclan warrior, appledusk. Like, WoW nO oNe HaS dOnE tHaT bEfOrE!!1! And she had his kits. Now, after saying he died, people just assumed that is was Birchface, when she just said nothing and they just thought it automatically. Like, let her tell you who her mate is! Sure she could have said something, but she knew what the consequences were if she said anything. And then rAvEnWiNg had to come along and ruin everything by telling a father (Oakstar) that a queen and her kits (Mapleshade) had lied that his son (Birchface) was the father. Like bro, this guys mourning over his son and you tell him that?!? Wow. Thats just cruel. Anyways, mapleshade is exiled, with three KITS, who probably havent even tasted prey before, which is just a stupid choice. Next time, stay quiet, ravenwing! Anyways mapleshade trys to cross the river when its swollen, and her kits drown. And what does frecklewish do? Nothin’. Not. A. Thing. Like come on, thats against the warrior code! “Warriors must help a kit in danger, no matter what clan its from” but then, Appledusk rejects her, saying its her fault the kits died. Does love mean nothing to him?!?!? So Mapleshade is kicked off clan grounds, and see’s a hallucination of her kits saying she has to avenge them. So she did. Ravenwing for telling everyone, frecklewish for watching them die, and appledusks new mate, reedshine, for “stealing” him from her. She ends up accidentally killing Appledusk instead, but i think she was quite ok with that 😅😅 anyways, Appledusks apprentice hurts her really bad, and she dies. But as she dies, she awaits going to starclan, because she thought starclan told her to kill those cats. So does she deserve the dark forest? I actually think that.. maybe not. She was a great warrior before, and she thought her kits in STARCLAN told her to kill the cats, so she thought it was right. Its a hard one, and ive never really had an opinion, but they ahould have kinda like interviewed her instead of just saying: DaRk FoReSt FoR yOu!!!
5. Antpelt
Antpelt is a side character, but he seemed very different from the others. He was from windclan, but training in the dark forest. But he was nice! He helped Ivypool, (or was like nice) and Thistleclaw got really mad and hurt him really bad, so antpelt died in the real word later on. Its also said he was a kind cat, and that he didnt like hurting others. So dark forest? Just cause he was training there, doesnt mean he is evil, so a starclan cat in my opinion.
6. Hawkfrost
Hawkfrost had a ok life, and when he joined the clan he was a good cat, but he really wanted to be leader. Tigerstar started to train him in the dark forest, and it was all downhill from there. He used mudclaw to try and take over windclan and make him deputy, he faked a omen to make Mothwing medicine cat, tried to kill firestar, and more. He had a pretty good life, so i dont see why he became like this. So, maybe dark forest.
