Hello there! Sorrelpaw here, and today I’ll be renaming some random characters from Warriors!

Okay, so I’ve spun the wheel and got…
Rainflower!

Let’s think… This is actually (in my opinion) a beautiful name, even if Rainflower is not the nicest. Anyway, according to the wiki, Rainflower is a soft-furred pale gray she-cat. Based on her appearance, I might give her the prefix Soft. Then, to pay tribute to her original name, I will give her the suffix rain.

Original name: Rainflower
New name: Softrain

Next up, we have…
Flametail!

Now – for some reason – Echo came into my mind straight away. I think that fits okay for his prefix personality-wise, so I guess we’re going with that :p. For the suffix, once again I’ll pay tribute to his original name and make it blaze.

Original name: Flametail
New name: Echoblaze

Next up, please welcome to the stage…
Crookedjaw(star)!

I swear this is random :p
Anyway, Crookedstar is a brown tabby. I think for the prefix I will give him either Drift or Falcon. I think I might go with Falcon. Then for the suffix, maybe song?

Original name: Crookedjaw
New name: Falconsong

Next up, Twigbranch.

Okay, have I ever mentioned how much I HATE this name? It’s literally a twig and a branch
:(((( So, let’s change it! I immediately think of the prefix Ash when thinking of a grey cat, so why not! Then suffix… flower maybe?

Original name: Twigbranch
New name: Ashflower

I’ll do a couple more, and the next is…
Spottedleaf!

For a tortoiseshell cat, Marsh tends to spring to mind, although it doesn’t sound the prettiest. However, I think I can glam-ify(?) it with the suffix I have in mind…
So for the suffix I’m thinking
dapple, just because it kind of
reminds me of a tortoiseshell.

Original name: Spottedleaf
New name: Marshdapple

Now the last one…
Hollyleaf!

This is actually a pretty nice name, but should we try and make it better? I think I might call her prefix Raven, for both appearance and personality. Now suffix, I’m going to try (TRY not SUCCEED) to make it meaningful, so maybe instead of leaf, we could do pool?

Original name: Hollyleaf
New name: Ravenpool

So the end result was:
Rainflower – Softrain
Flametail – Echoblaze
Crookedjaw(star) – Falconsong
Twigbranch – Ashflower
Spottedleaf – Marshdapple
Hollyleaf – Ravenpool

I hope you enjoyed this article, and make sure to tell me your opinions in the comments below!
