Giving Percy Jackson Characters Warrior Names by Brackentuft

Hey, guys! So I am a HUGE Percy Jackson fan (even though it’s been a while 😅) and I decided to give some characters warrior names!!! I decided to stick to the first series because it’s my favorite. Enjoy 🙂

Percy: I definitely want his suffix to be -snap because of how sassy he is (that’s my favorite part about his character). However, I’m not sure what to do about the prefix. I would do Ocean but cats don’t really know what the ocean is, unless you want his name to be Sun-drownPlacesnap, lol. I want to pick something that has to do with water. Maybe Wave? Yeah, I like that. His name is Wavesnap!

Annabeth: I definitely want to use Thorn or -thorn for her because she has blonde hair and thorns look small but can really hurt you, like Annabeth. She is the “smart one” so people might classify her as weak, but she’s really strong and brave. I think that I’ll use Gray for her eyes. That sounds cool, her new name is Graythorn!

Grover: Grover is a satyr and has curly hair so I think that the prefix Tuft would be good for him. Then I think that -song would be good because he plays the pan pipes. Tuftsong is a nice, goofy name for this nice, goofy guy 🙂

Clarisse: Blazeheart is the name I chose for her. She is a very passionate person. She acts tough, but is actually a kind person, as we see in her friendship with Silena and her boyfriend. Sidenote: I also really LOVE the way she looks in the new tv series!

Luke: I thought that the name Goldenscar would fit Luke. Golden because, in the graphic novel, gold and black seem to be Kronos’s main colors (I mean like the colors that he usually wears or are associated with him). I also chose Golden because Luke seemed nice and perfect to everyone at the beginning… but not all that glitters is gold. I picked -scar because of the scar on his face!

Nico: After a while, I decided on Earthshadow for Nico. It’s pretty self-explanatory but -shadow because he can shadow travel and Earth because he can raise the dead (the skeleton warriors). Also because Hades is the God of wealth in the earth so I thought that would be good.

Rachel: Now, for Rachel I picked Brightsight. Bright because she’s smart, witty, very kind, and artistic. Then -sight because she’s the Oracle and can see the future. I really like that she threw a blue hairbrush at Kronos, lol.

Thalia: I chose the name Silverlightning for Thalia. Silver because later she joins the Hunters of Artemis and also because her main colors seem to be silver and black. And I picked the suffix -lightning because her father is Zeus and it just seems to fight her.

Anyways, that’s it! I think my favorite name is Graythorn (which makes sense because Annabeth’s my favorite character 😛). Thanks for reading!!!
