Spottedleaf is NOT creepy by Fallowpaw

Fallowpaw shines a light on a different perspective on Spottedleaf’s actions.

Hello!!! Today I chose a little… controversial – to say the least – topic. Aka Spottedleaf. Little note: I do not ship FireSpotted, and I’m not trying to defend the ship in this article, this is about SPOTTEDLEAF, and her alone.

So, the big reason why I believe she’s not creepy, is that Firepaw/star loved her, but she didn’t love him. A lot of people probably think she did, but in this article I will explain why it’s pretty clear that she doesn’t. Let’s start with when she was alive.

If I remember correctly, the only things that really happened then were Firepaw just entering Spottedleaf’s den to fetch herbs a couple of times, they speak a few words, and Firepaw *suddenly, randomly* feels happy. But at this point, 10-years old me found romance too boring to even notice that Firepaw was crushing on her. I only noticed it in Firestar’s Quest, and I was like: ‘What the flippity flip are you worrying about, Sandstorm, they never had a relationship?’ But yeah, that’s just me, I got my dad to read Warriors too and he noticed it immediately😛 I just wasn’t interested in the romance and wanted to know the plot😛 That’s young me for ya🤣 But back on topic, this does show that it wasn’t that big of a thing, and Spottedleaf there only talked to him as a random Clan member. Now to after her dead.

Spottedleaf visited him in his dreams. Here is where things go wrong for most people. But, did she stalk him? No. You’d probably be yelling at me now if I wasn’t just typing this on a website, but luckily I am😅😛 Now, I don’t think anything is wrong with her coming in his dreams. Firstly, most of the time she needs to give him a message from StarClan, and that’s usually a cat you care about, so yeah, that’s why she does it. Then about the times she doesn’t tell him anything. I always think then that she was going to say something, but he woke up too early. Like, that’s kinda what the book insinuates, right? And FIRESTAR is the one who brags about her sweet scent and pretty fur. It’s not like she’s flirting with him or smth. Again, it’s Firestar who loves Spottedleaf, not Spottedleaf who loves Firestar.

And lastly, the most important one, Firestar’s Quest. This is the best proof I can get. FIRESTAR is the one who isn’t even able to lie to Sandstorm that he loves her more. It’s so simple! But still, he’s too loyal to Spottedleaf! It’s HIM who can’t get it over his lips! HIM. Not her. Because while our dear Firestar is still to attached to her sweet scent, SPOTTEDLEAF, the poor girl everyone hates, tells Sandstorm she can have Firestar! It’s HER who needs to do that! And this just tells that she never loved him. It’s a one-sided crush.

So, that’s it! Sorry if I was too passionate/aggressive, I can be like that sometimes, especially when defending someone or roasting someone🥲 I don’t mean to offend anyone, this is just one of my opinions I want to share! Good day/night! Fallowpaw and Spottedleaf outtttttt!!!
